Exactly why we should’ve seeked help from people like John Volanthen in the first place, We could’ve saved a life easily by preventing these dumb decisions from being made. @MMuizzu should seriously start considering taking in competent people instead of the clowns we have today.
“Gut huriyya”, “nikan firiheniyya”, “nikan adheybala zuvaabukollan”.
@MMuizzu this is the vocabulary and language of your spokesperson @mundhu_maldives
It’s very shameful on you, it’s like a spokesperson for a gang leader.
A real life hero, someone who played a vital part in rescuing 13 people from a thai cave. These are the kind of people we should’ve seeked help from and work alongside during critical rescue operations rather than taking into our own hands. Negligence all around !! @MMuizzu
@QueenmaryMV WTAF is he saying? I had to serve 2 days under this idiot when he was a LT in MNDF. He had the biggest ego ever and no knowledge abt rules of engagement and weapon handling even though he was a West Point graduate..had to remove the riot gun out of his hands.
Four days ago, we were just sitting together, talking, laughing, and simply being in each other's presence. I had no idea that it would be our last normal moment, or that those ordinary minutes would become a treasured memories. Today, he is gone, and the shock and pain are completely overwhelming.
Losing a brother leaves a void that nothing else can fill. He was a constant part of our world, and the reality without him feels impossible right now.
To everyone who knew him, you know the light he brought into a room. To his family, he was their anchor. He will be missed more than words can ever adequately express—missed in the quiet moments, missed at the family table, and missed every single day.
Rest in peace, brother. You left us far too soon, but you will never, ever be forgotten. 💔✨
@addusalman Exactly!!!! I know the MNDF divers personally. I have trained some of them. They are brave and they would give everything to accomplish their mission. Their hinderance are the politicians!!!
Just did an interview with @BBCWorld , the interviewer said that the Maldives govt spoks @mundhu_maldives told them that CG Divers are using specialised equipment given by Italian govt for the search....which is a blatant lie.
A cave dive with an entrance at 58m is not a site for regular recreational divers from a liveaboard. That is advanced technical diving territory.
So why were established dive regulations and depth limits ignored in the first place?
