Project @NanhiKali ’s impact goes beyond the girls it supports. It reaches families, communities and villages, creating change that extends far beyond the playground.
The story Bhavika shares from Jambusar is one we see echoed across many remote communities in the country. When a girl gets the opportunity to learn, grow and dream, the impact does not stop with her. She becomes a source of change for her family and the wider community around her.

The idea behind #Arakunomics is simple: make agriculture profitable, sustainable and resilient, so farmers can earn better, build for the future, produce high-quality crops and regenerate the planet. We’ve done this in Araku for over 25 years. The stories our farmers share with us stands as proof.
Now, we’re taking this philosophy to more communities across India.
As the nature of employment is changing around the world, young people need more practical, technical and interpersonal skills to apply what they know, adapt to new opportunities and build sustainable careers.
At Naandi, we work to make that bridge stronger so India's new workforce can confidently make a livelihood.
@MahindraRise@kaabilprogram
In Araku, a new generation is choosing agriculture.
Young farmers are growing up seeing what their families have built through coffee. They are now stepping in with the ambition to grow better coffee, improve their incomes and take their family farms further.
With the principles of #Arakunomics, Naandi continues to work alongside farmers across generations, making agriculture a livelihood that young people see a successful future in.

Naandi works with institutions across the country to equip students with the skills, confidence and job readiness they need as they prepare for their careers. When placement directors with whom we have built long-standing partnerships, continue to share positive feedback about the programme, it re-energises us to keep strengthening the work we do.
Batch after batch, this is how India's New Workforce is getting built.

If you’ve spotted the @UFCo_India label on your vegetables, there’s a whole lot of good happening before they reach your kitchen. 🌱
Guided by Naandi’s Arakunomics principles, Urban Farms Co. puts regenerative agriculture into practice, growing quality and nutritious produce while restoring soil health, supporting biodiversity and building a farming ecosystem that works better for farmers, consumers and the planet.
Because good food isn’t just about what we grow. It’s about how we grow it.

Across our Skills Development classrooms, young people are getting the opportunity to participate, make mistakes and try again. These exercises help them carry their learnings into their careers and be confident employees.
At Naandi, we are creating such opportunities for young people as we build India’s New Workforce.

I’m so glad you asked, because it gives me an opportunity to clarify something that often causes confusion.
So forgive me for this long post.
The store you mentioned is not part of our Araku café chain.
The name Araku coffee can be used by anyone as it is a GI tagged name of a village & a mandal in Andhra Pradesh
Araku, like Darjeeling, can’t be exclusively trademarked by anyone.
You will find many businesses using variations such as Araku Valley Coffee, Araku Tribal Coffee and Araku Nature.
What is uniquely ours is the ARAKU brand identity; our distinctive logo, typography & graphics, which you’ll see on every genuine ARAKU café and pack.
And our Cafés also have a distinctive, pristine, look & feel with a colour palette which we have pioneered.
I’ve attached a photo of our logo so you know what to look for.
And behind that logo lies a story we’re immensely proud of.
ARAKU coffee is the result of 25 years of regenerative agriculture work by the Naandi Foundation in the Araku tribal region.
What began with just 1,000 farmers has grown voluntarily to 100,000 farming families across 1,300 villages.
Through the Tribal Coffee Cooperative created by @Naandi_india, farmers receive year-round, field-based training, often from tribal trainers within their own communities, in growing and harvesting exceptional coffee alongside pepper, fruit and other crops that preserve biodiversity.
Today, it is the largest organic coffee cooperative in the world.
And quality is non-negotiable.
Farmers who want to remain in the cooperative and sell their coffee to us must meet rigorous standards, passing through 19 milestones every year to achieve a score of 91/100.
Their coffees are then evaluated by an international panel: the Global Gems of Araku Jury & the awards are presented at the cooperative’s extraordinary annual gathering, representing more than 35,000 farmer members.
So yes, we’re delighted if the growing recognition of the name Araku helps other entrepreneurs and coffee growers from the region prosper.
But if you want to taste OUR Araku, the coffee that is the product of this remarkable 25-year journey, look for the logo.
That logo doesn’t just identify the coffee. It identifies the community and the process behind it.
Every girl deserves the opportunity to play, move and make sport a part of her life from an early age. At Project @NanhiKali , we create these opportunities through regular sports and physical activity, giving girls the space and encouragement to get on the field and stay there.

In the coffee plots of Araku, our farmers grow some of the world’s finest coffee. But every harvest represents something much bigger. It helps farmers from tribal communities build stronger, more secure livelihoods for their families. Through Arakunomics, farmers use regenerative agriculture to strengthen their farms, improve coffee quality, increase their incomes and connect to global markets. Great coffee becomes a pathway to lasting livelihoods.

The eighth in the world. Four in France, now four in India.
I trust you’ll be able to figure out which city & which location?
On #TeachersDay I salute and bow my head to these Women Entrepreneurs aka Farmers in Shravasti, Uttar Pradesh. These are just four of a 100,000 that we work with to create Good Food Corners as part of @naandi_india effort to create a nationwide Good Food for All network where women produce all the food for their homes in small patches of land learning for the first time Regenerative Organic Agriculture of Naandi Foundation. They have learned, taught and impacted a million lives in their villages.
They are both the best students and teachers I have met last two years.
(Thank you @MahindraRise for supporting this initiative year after year as part of the CSR initiatives.🙏)
On #TeachersDay, I’m drawn back to this photo from a Nanhi Kali classroom years ago.
Seeing & hearing those young people brought a quiet truth home: if we only open our minds, our children become our finest, most profound teachers.
Today, I salute and thank them all. 🙏🏽
There is something powerful about watching girls step onto a football field, travel beyond what is familiar, and simply get the chance to play. "Khelne Chalogi?" by Janato Cinema captures that beautifully. It is a reminder of what sport can open up for girls: new places, new friendships, confidence, independence and the freedom to imagine more for themselves.
This is a story that feels especially close to all of us at Naandi and @NanhiKali , and to everything we believe sport can make possible for every girl.

This story of Gayatri winning under the tutelage of her father is my Motivation story for the month!
I have seen Gopichand in his academy training so many hopefuls, day in and day out, for the last two decades. I recall going there to see a very young Gayatri starting out to play. What a journey. As a fellow Indian and father of a daughter I am so proud.
More power to you my friend Gopi.
Take a bow @PGopichand73
Perfect case for being Ambassador to #ProudFathersForDaughters for @NanhiKali which now has over 1300 girls footballs teams raised by @naandi_india
Maybe next time I will take the father-daughter duo for the finals of our #ToofaanCup to inspire the 100,000 girls we work with. 🙏
#September #MonthlyMotivation
(Of course, Congratulations to both Teresa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand.)
From girls finding their strength on the football field in the remotest parts of the country, to young people making careers with confidence, to farmers building thriving livelihoods: a stronger India begins with every opportunity to move forward.
Happy Independence Day! 🇮🇳
