We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Dr. Christine King Farris, C'48, Spelman Professor Emerita and sister of the late Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. We will continue to celebrate her impactful legacy on generations of Spelmanites and extend condolences to her family.

Saturday, January 4th, is the next monthly “Walk With My Doc” event. We meet at 9:00 a.m. at the Administration Building on the grounds of the National Arboretum. If the temperature falls below 32 degrees, or if it is raining or snowing, the walk will be canceled.
