I wrote “Ice Cold Heart” out of heartbreak over the killings of Renée Good and Alex Pretti, and over how easily people can be dehumanized by lies filtered through political bias. But the song was also inspired by the brave people of Minneapolis, who showed that even in the face of state-sponsored violence, there is courage in holding onto our humanity, standing up for our freedoms and our neighbors, and refusing to let compassion die.

Rep. Menendez says he waited 15 HOURS outside an ICE facility trying to check on a detainee leading protests over conditions inside.

He says he told officials:

I’m not leaving until I know he’s okay.

Then after waiting overnight…

he finally gets inside.

And the first thing they tell him?

The man he came to see was gone.

Moved at 2 AM.

Read that again.

A member of Congress shows up for an oversight visit…

waits all night…

and the detainee he specifically came to check on gets transferred before he can see him.

Menendez says that detainee was helping organize a hunger strike because people inside wanted their stories heard.

Whatever your politics are…

when oversight shows up, the answer should be transparency.

Not a disappearing act at 2 in the morning.

BREAKING: A federal judge is now signaling the Trump administration’s so-called “weaponization fund” may have emerged from collusive litigation and could potentially amount to fraud on the court.

That is nuclear-level language from a judge.

“Fraud on the court” is not normal criticism.
It is reserved for situations where a court believes it may have been manipulated, misled, or used as part of a coordinated scheme.

And the judge reportedly pointed to two giant red flags:
- the massive $1.8 billion settlement amount
- and concerns the opposing sides may not have actually been acting as true adversaries

Translation?

The court is openly questioning whether this lawsuit was partially engineered to create a taxpayer-funded political compensation machine.

That is an absolutely extraordinary development.
