Dear Nelson, Just a few tips looking from the outside in.

It seems to me you could be possibly overstocked, However i dont know legislation for weight per square meter in Zimbabwe or however many birds you have or length of the poultry house.

Judging from birds behavior they are suffering heavily from heat stress. The panting is very intense from 95% of the birds in the video. This will ultimately affect your production invarious ways.

Heat stress disrupts the hens' metabolism and reproductive hormones essentially chickens eat less under heat stress to reduce metabolic heat production, which leads to lower nutrient intake and decreased body weight. It is important to maintain a constant progression in body weight.

Heat stress leads to thinner eggshells, reduced egg weight, and poor internal quality due to decreased calcium absorption and changes in protein synthesis.

It also makes the birds lethargic making them to lay more frequently on the floor. This can cause a loss in production due to risk of birds eating the floor eggs & also encourages others to lay creating more floor eggs Sort of a chicken see chicken do kind of thing. They creatures of habit. Once it starts it hard to stop.

What you can do as a little advise from me to you,

It looks like you have tin as roofing. Try change it to asbestos. Again i dont know what legislation says about that. Tin roofs absorb a large amount of heat from the sun and can get extremely hot during the day. Asbestos has better heat resistance compared to tin, so it does not get as hot. Also remember Tin has a faster heat transfer whilst asbestos holds a lower heat transfer. This can be good for the cooler nights.

Try increase you floor space within the house. Not buy extending but simply puttin A frame perches dotted around the house. This will elevate ground space because layers love to perch. It will allow for more airflow instead of it just hitting the floor once it enters & staying stagnant. That will also help with floor eggs and also add slats to the nest boxes. This will give you a bit more ground space.

Now that we got that out the way i might aswell share so other issues i noticed.

Your feeders are far to deep that they overflowing. There should be somewhere to make an adjustment in the center of the feeder. So the red bit narrow the gad with the black bit. This will prevents feed spillage & loss of feed.

Your bell drinkers are kind of low, make them stretch for it. It will help with spillage & keep your litter try. As well as the birds finding it easier to drink.

Some more nest boxes to avoid floor eggs.

Electric strip around the walls of the house to prevent birds laying on the floor. This will teach them a good lesson not to be lazy early on in the flock & go up to the nest boxes. They love the corners especially & remember creatures of habit.
