It was not just us that opposed the sovereignty bill, the BOU Governor Dr. Michael Atingi-Ego noted on April 28th 2026 that; “the law will lead to a substantial depreciation of the Ugandan currency.”
On the other hand, fuel prices are skyrocketing, driving up the cost of essential commodities!

In this stirring video, a mother asks how a regime that brutalised her during the January 2026 elections for simply holding the Ugandan flag can now claim the moral authority to forcefully send her S6-leaver child to Kyankwanzi for “patriotism” training!
Having come to the realization that citizens are now politically awake, the Museveni dictatorship is now trying to indoctrinate our unsuspecting children. WE MUST NOT ALLOW IT!
Operatives went to Busabala. Asked staff if I had been there. Tried to compromise one to tip them off if I come around. There was an aerial drone hovering over the night before. I advise them not to waste time on these futile exercises. I will reappear at an appropriate time.

The problem with coming up to fight bad governance in Uganda is that many people will look at it as your exclusive responsibility to do so. They’ll then sit aside and start theoretically analysing and criticising your efforts - what you are doing right or not. While they are affected by the same problems you are fighting, it is not their primary duty to do anything about the problems beyond playing like linesmen and disinterested scholars. Even under harsh political environments, they’ll call you weak and mock you for being beaten by a system you should be joining hands to face. That is how even those who try end up quietly withdrawing.
My attitude is to respect, support and encourage those who try to do what I can’t do but that I find necessary to be done. Let everyone add what they can, not just feeling entitled to being saved by another perfect person.
My fellow citizens of Uganda, we have a great opportunity and responsibility on January 15 2026, which is only 2 days away, to determine the future of our dear country Uganda and to shape its destiny for ourselves, our children, our grandchildren and great grandchildren who are born or even those who are not yet born.
If you are a registered voter, you determine Uganda’s future through casting your vote.
If you are a Ugandan, whether you are a registered voter or not, and whether you live in Uganda or outside Uganda, by your own choice or not by your own choice (like myself and many others who fled the country for threats to our respective lives by those in power or because of economic exclusion and in search of a better economic livelihood for yourself, your children and your family), you have a right as a Ugandan to observe and comment on the entire election.
If you are a Ugandan registered voter and you are denied the right to cast your vote either for the President, your MP or any other candidate, or you cannot trace your polling station or your name is not on the Voters Register or you cannot or fail to vote because the Biometric machine rejects you or is not working or someone else has already ticked the ballot paper for you when it is handed to you, do not remain silent.
Stay in your line until the issue has been sorted out and you vote freely for each candidate of your choice.
If the issue is not sorted out by the Election officials on the ground, inform your LC 1 Chaiperson or LC official nearest to you and at least 3 other people who are not your family members and who witnessed what happened to you.
Every Ugandan whether he or she is a voter or non voter has a right to stay and observe the entire election at their polling station or any other polling station, from the beginning to the end, provided you do not prevent or obstruct other registered voters to also cast their votes freely and provided you maintain the distance of 20 meters allowed by our law.
I have watched many videos of fellow Ugandans telling their fellow Ugandans that they do not have a right to stay close to polling stations and to observe the entire election. Our Constitution did not create two categories of citizens - the ones who have a right to observe and follow what is going on during voting hours and those who do not. Stop confusing and abusing the intelligence of Ugandans. We are all peace loving Ugandans until proven otherwise. There is no presumption of criminality written in our Constitution or in any other law that is on our Statute books which specifies which Ugandans will break the law going by their political beliefs.
Ugandans should freely exercise their votes without being labeled as non peace lovers.
It is our collective votes, that will determine who will lead us as our President;
who will be your individual Member of Parliament and our representatives in the Parliament of Uganda and to will pass laws that either protect and enhance the enjoyment of your rights and erode your constitutional rights; the MPs that will study and only approve government budgets that give due priority to your economic wellbeing, your health, quality education for your children and all the children of Uganda; who will be your District Woman Member of Parliament, your District Chairperson, Councilor, etc.
So cast your vote very wisely for the best candidate at each level, that you believe in and who represents not only your interests but the interests of our dear country Uganda as a whole.
We also determine Uganda’s future by what each one of us does on the day of the election; what each one of us does after we have voted; what we do after the voting is ongoing and after it has closed; what we do during and after the votes have been counted and declared at each polling station.

Faced with growing international condemnation over the many videos and pictures of the brutality meted out on the people of Uganda on a daily basis, the criminal regime has resorted to criminalising the recording of the military and police as they brutalise citizens!
On Monday, Charles Muvawala, a Ugandan born U.S. citizen was violently arrested from Rubaga, assaulted and his phone taken away because he was recording security operatives as they beat up, tear-gassed and pepper-sprayed our supporters. He has been charged with computer misuse and remanded to Luzira Prison up to 23rd Dec when his case will come up again.
As laughable as it sounds, the regime claims that he recorded the videos and shared them with people who had not solicited them! More reason why our people must use their cameras to record every incident because even these criminals understand how effective it is. Ultimatel, all that evidence will come in handy some time!

I am sincerely grateful to the ordinary residents of Gulu as well as our security team for withstanding this savage brutality in order to protect us. Those criminals even beat up the police officers attached to our campaign.
I am very grateful to the media who despite being attacked themselves, kept their cameras on. Perhaps if their cameras were not on, it could have been worse. UGANDA WILL BE FREE.

@PoliceUg Show us the arrests of these criminals. They evidently attacked citizens and are still roaming.
