Pauline Hanson is a deadly danger to women, witches.

And if she and her deadshit party gain more power at the next election, tens of thousands of women and their children will suffer.

It’s already happening in Hanson’s home state of Queensland, where their fucked-up Liberal leadership just slashed $300 million or more from their DV budget. And these cuts to services and victim-blaming will happen more widely across the nation if people with NFI what she really stands for vote for her or her nasty, unfit goons.

She doesn’t know what she’s talking about, and is so terminally unfit for politics (or any public position) she doubled down (as in the pic) on her radio comments yesterday, just so no one was in any doubt what she said. She actually thought this clarification made what she said okay, and spent her time crafting this bullshit instead of educating herself on the complex and heartbreaking causes and solutions to Australia’s epidemic of men’s violence against women.

They all sing from the same fucking playbook, witches.

Alan Jones, whose incredibly verbally violent terminology almost certainly encouraged his violent male listeners to harm women. Kyle Sandilands, who sucked up to Pauline on air and is doing it with even more fervour since being sacked. Karl Stefanovic, whose cringey buddy-buddy talk with a Nazi was followed by Pauline’s own suck-up interview with the same violent, depraved jailbird. And even Dave Hughes (see our post yesterday), who parrots Hanson’s same racist sentiments for the same stupid reasons.

We included in the pic below the first comment under Pauline’s post, to show how her words normalise violence and encourage men to see women as the problem. This is the DARVO playbook, where violent men make the women who’ve been verbally, emotionally, financially, physically, psychologically and/or sexually abused, manipulated and harmed for years or decades equally responsible (at least) for their own suffering. Where violent men have their violence excused by people like Hanson because it’s all the woman’s fault for not leaving. And where the systematic patriarchal harm of women is reduced to nothing but a communication issue between partners instead of a deadly crime perpetrated almost exclusively by men on women and children.

These fuckmuppets all have to go, at least from mainstream discourse. Whether they’re broadcasters or so-called comedians or politicians. Australia has an epidemic of women and child murders, and this cruel yet still-too-common rhetoric both increases the chances women will be killed or harmed and makes it less likely women will be able to save themselves and their kids.

We must use all our witchy power get these numpties off the airwaves: so we vote them out, and we call them out. And yes, we get them cancelled and we’re fucking proud of doing it.

Because this is a war on women, these are outrageous humans, and their time at the top has to fucking stop.

Today, Pauline Hanson has described family, domestic and sexual violence as a 'two-way street' while telling women who suffer abuse they should simply not "put up with it".

27 of the 37 women killed in Australia this year have died as a result of domestic violence.

Eight were women killed by their sons.

Minimising that horror by gaslighting victims of family violence, shows both callous disregard for people's suffering and a complete lack of insight into the complex hardship faced by women living in abusive situations.

Apparently, my NDIA contact says, they gave up on me after I did not answer my long dead email address - there is nothing in the NDIA MyGov messages account - nor did I manage to get to the phone within the six rings that were granted me before the phone rang out.

They never rang back. And now, it seems, I have a $1 plan.

That means nobody to help you shower.
No replacement for my bald power wheelchair tyre.
Nobody to help change your tampon, nor help you with your luggage off a baggage carousel (we are driving to Sydney at the crack of dawn tomorrow morning, then flying to WA).

There was no explanation. No consultation. No follow up phone call, just my one-dollar plan.

Here's the thing.

While former ministers glide into the boardrooms of the scheme, participants are being told they can lose their plans if they don't answer the phone. The Agency's proposed reforms contemplate suspending supports and ultimately revoking participant status where the NDIA decides a person is "uncontactable."

Some advocate recently did what advocates do. They FOI'd the NDIA's own National Contact Centre - the phone line participants are expected to answer and call - and asked how well it answers us.

The numbers, released under FOI 25.26-3532, are astonishing - in a very double plus ungood way. In the first half of 2024 alone, the Agency's own contact centre logged 50,983 abandoned calls, with average speed of answer blowing out to a massive 5 minutes 28 seconds and peaking at over 9 minutes in February and March. And those figures are the FLATTERING numbers: they don't include time trapped in the automated menu, exclude callback waits, and don't even count calls abandoned inside the first 60 seconds.

Think about that for a moment. The Agency wants the power to cut off your funding because you didn't pick up. But when you call them, you can wait nine minutes and then be counted as one of fifty thousand people who gave up.

But hey, I am not going to be gloomy about my impending death. I have decided to sign up with a brand-new provider. He is running the gloriously named 'Brighter Road Ltd' with his pastor wife. His name?

A dollar in a cripple's plan. Nine minutes on hold. And a former minister in the NDIA seat selling "access to the highest levels of the NDIS." That is not a system with a few bad outcomes. And it's certainly not the 'anxiety' of a few Nervous Nellies who are worried about our funding. That is a system working exactly as designed for everyone except the participant.

A comprehensive win by the MSO against Jayson Gillham, the judge deciding the Federal Fair Work Act does not capture the Victorian Equal Opportunity law. In addition, he found the MSO would have made the decision to cancel had his comments not been about Israel’s conduct, and about any other matter they regarded as affecting their business model.
Gillham now must decide whether he will appeal the decision. The case sets an important precedent with respect to the determination regarding the 2 pieces of legislation.
