ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ రాజధాని అమరావతి కోసం భూములిచ్చిన రైతుల గురించి కొందరు నోళ్లు పారేసుకోవడాన్ని తీవ్రంగా ఖండిస్తున్నాను.

ఇలాంటి జుగుప్సాకరమైన వ్యాఖ్యలు అత్యంత దారుణమైనవి, హేయమైనవి. సభ్యసమాజం సహించలేనివి. కేవలం ఒక్క ఎకరా భూమి ఉన్న రైతులు సైతం రాజధాని కోసం భూములు ఇవ్వడమే గాక, తదనంతర కాలంలో తమ మీద జరిగిన దమనకాండకు వ్యతిరేకంగా వీరోచిత పోరాటం చేశారు. అమరావతి ప్రాంతంలో వ్యవసాయమే ప్రధాన వృత్తిగా, ప్రవృత్తిగా జీవనం సాగిస్తూ... భవిష్యత్ తరాల కోసం వారు చేసిన త్యాగాలు నిరుపమానమైనవి. అలాంటి రైతులను, ముఖ్యంగా మహిళా మూర్తులను ఉద్దేశించి చేసిన వ్యాఖ్యలు కిరాతకమైనవి. ఆడబిడ్డల ఆత్మగౌరవానికి భంగం కలిగించడం క్షమించరాని నేరం. ఇందుకు బాధ్యులైన ప్రతి ఒక్కరి మీద చట్ట ప్రకారం కఠిన చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలి.
