The Chairman of the NADFOR, Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Ismail (Dixood), today participated in the Climate Smart Education Systems Initiative (CSESI) Success Showcase, where the project's achievements and progress in strengthening a climate-resilient education system were presented.

NADFOR hosted the monthly Humanitarian Coordination Group (HCG) meeting at its headquarters. The meeting brought together representatives from NADFOR,OCHA,UN agencies,international organization and local Humanitarian partners.

On March 14, 2026, Hassan Omar Ali, Deputy Chairman of the Somaliland Community in Denmark, donated $7,357 to NADFOR to support drought-affected communities.
The community had earlier contributed $14,707, reaffirming its continued solidarity with the people of Somaliland.#NADFOR
National Disaster Preparedness and Food Reserve Authority provided emergency food aid to vulnerable communities in the ainabo district.A total of 900 households received essential assistance as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen humanitarian support and protect livelihoods.

During Ramadan, NADFOR Chairman Abdiraxman Maxamed Ismail (Dixood) and Deputy Chairman Abdirahman Maxamud (Xandule) launched a food donation program for families in Sool & Sanaag.

The leadership of the NADFOR Agency officially concluded a training program on climate science and weather forecasting. The training, which lasted for 12 days, aimed to strengthen participants’ understanding and technical capacity in weather forecasting, climate, and rainfall.
As part of the Social Assistance Project, food packages were distributed on October 27, 2025, to 1,000 needy families living in the Sahil Berbera region of Somaliland.
The Director General of NADFOR (AFAD) also attended the distribution program. Red Crecent Turkey (KIZILAY)
