@KrissBergTweets team, so the demand is spread over a much larger pool of games.
The likes of Arsenal in a decent season are pulling in well over 2 million home fans to games through a year...NFL team's don't get more than 1 million....(apart from Dallas at 1.3m)
@KrissBergTweets One aspect you're missing is that that US stadium has on average a grand total of 10 NFL games per season in it....
The average UK soccer stadium hosts a minimum of 30 and maximum of 60 games per season (dependent on cup runs, European games etc.).
Far greater chance to see your
@Marcellogus@MisterQuintus@McmeekinIan SDB1 is one of the best A2G munitions around...cheap, with decent range and penetration. The warhead is plenty big enough for most targets.
@yuppieabroad@Jonpy99 overall speed of the logistic system that is causing the issues right now....and in many ways thats harder to deal with than the loss of a vehicle...
@yuppieabroad@Jonpy99 They're not...there are thousands upon thousands in storage...if they can be made to work (which is easier than tanks...).
Realistically Kamaz and Ural could cover the losses to date easily enough...if the Ru MoD placed orders...
It's the losses of cargos/drivers, delays and...
@wmslamcan@CptHastings1916 He was an failed comedian here...got a paying gig via The Times (a conservative newspaper) for a podcast. Truth be told it wasn't terrible....but he never really made much of a mark in the UK.
@2805662 Why?
Have you not seen the DIP reporting? This is as good as it gets...
We should be a naval and air power....leave the land war to the continentals....
@smaja79@BernardoCelcius@thinkdefence Sure. But now you're going to spend >£4bn for a fleet of 150 gun tanks and supporting vehicles...
There is not the money...have you not seen the DIP stories?
Tanks for the Army are so far down the list at present that there is no further money for them, and nor should there be
@smaja79@BernardoCelcius@thinkdefence And given that the driver training tanks work just the same for CR2 or CR3 we're not going to be doing much there either...
@BernardoCelcius@thinkdefence The cost difference....2A8 is £25m per example....
We're getting 150 CR3 for £5m per tank...
If you can find another £3bn for a fleet of 150 please let us all know where you found it...
@CalibreDefence They must be insane...
Interviews with frontline commanders in Ukraine would quickly dispel this nonsense. One stated recently that the last time they fired a 120mm mortar (and a camouflaged dug in one at that) was last October....and he was from an assault unit...
@Schizointel Non-zero as in 0.00001% chance possibly....
But ASW is far harder to accomplish than most realise...a minisub is not going to kill an SSK...doesn't have the sonar, CMS, comms etc...torpedo armament is utterly daft...
The real payload value is in laying mines....
