Suresh Salley has been hospitalised since June 7, now over 100 days. Court previously summoned the National Hospital Director over missing medical reports. Doctors cited an enlarged heart, a fitted cardiac device and later dental treatment.

56 Southern Expressway passenger-service permits are at the centre of the case against former NTC Chairman Renuka Perera.

CIABOC arrested him on 17 Sep, and the Colombo Magistrate’s Court remanded him until 29 Sep.

21 Sep: A warrant was issued for Wimal Weerawansa after he failed to appear in the 2016 UN-office protest case.

He arrived in court shortly after, with his lawyer citing a vehicle breakdown.

The case is now fixed for 19 October.
