@ManCity This is how it feels to be City, this is how it feels to be small.
For all these years you have been buying titles instead of earning them and inflating prices of players.
@Cantonadevils He hasn’t been ignored for no reason. León himself admitted the jump in intensity was huge, and Carrick has told him he needs to improve tactically before he can be trusted at senior level. He spent last season developing with the U21s and still isn’t considered first-team ready.
@UTDRussell WIth 3 CM signings this year, I do not think Man Utd will buy another midfielder for a while. The twins are only 19 years old. Let them go on loan and when they are 21/22 they can challenge for the first time while at least providing cover.
@UTDshago While I agree, we may be fine without Bruno Fernandes, he still seems at his peak. When he is showing some signs of decline (we will see this season) then we can let him leave. If he continues with strong performances, he can stay, just like Scholes stayed until age 38.
@utdreport Its unfortunate for him and I wouldn't have minded getting him but I prefer the 3 midfielders we signed instead. Andrey Santos which is the same type of player as Ederson is 4 years younger which means he has more years to give the team at his best.
@utdreport 9/10. This midfield gives you everything.
Mainoo = press resistant, ball carrier
Tielemans = conductor, world-class passing. Creativity from deep
Fernandes: playmaker
Andrey Santos = box to box
Baleba = will cover huge amounts of ground and offer athleticism
@utdreport Good guy, been a great servant, been professional and is good for the dressing room but you cannot challenge for a champions league spot with only one ageing LB. I still believe in Luke Shaw as a rotation player at least until next year.
@utdreport Kobbie is very good but he has to accept that he is not an automatic starter. It will probably be him competing with Tielemans for that #8 spot. His dribbling/carrying is excellent but his passing range can't match Tielemans. Some games it will be him and other games it will be T
@UTDKarra I agree. But another way to look at it: he cost us nothing. He has 2 years left on this contract. That's $32 millions which is still way cheaper than buying another winger (Look at Summerville or Anthony Gordon: 80 millions). I'd rather keep the funds for a left back or a 3rd CM
