@johnsuchet1 Bottom line, would you out your dog or cat in a similar situation? Would you put your family or children in a similar situation? No why? Because it would be deemed CRUEL. But it's fine for horses because people love to get drunk and pay loads to rich people...
@PeteSkinner12@johnsuchet1 And that's why they are put in danger and die at these things because they are "the best cared for animals". Anyone who says they love their race horse is a lying scumbag trying to make money from their suffering. I'm sure you would enjoy racing if you were treated like they are.
@PeteSkinner12@johnsuchet1 It is baffling that you actually believe that. If you let a horse run loose in a field, they would definitely not be running that fast and in that manner.
But I'm sure you have studied this and know loads about horse behaviour... π
@PeteSkinner12@johnsuchet1 Because they're scared, because they're locked in a cage before they have to run for their lives so they keep running because they're scared of the cage and scared of getting continously hit
Quite a simple reply actually
The attitude towards this is really demeaning to our industryβ¦ theatre isnβt a joke, and shouldnβt be treated as such. The fact that all three are laughing, and @AlisonHammond even says βI wonβt go to the show nowβ is quite frankly disappointing. Go to a concert to sing along. Go to the theatre to enjoy and appreciate art. For certain jukebox shows, they often have specific performances for sing a longs, or wait until the encore at the end of the show when you are invited by the cast to join in. Start treating the arts with respect. This interview is giving license to so many people to ridicule our industry, and treat us as jokes. The three of you are utterly disappointing, and I would hope you apologise and hold yourselves accountable for behaving this way.
