پاکستان آرمی کے دو بہادر افسران، کیپٹن ابوذر فاروق اور لیفٹیننٹ شیراز بابر، جو اپنے دستوں کی قیادت فرنٹ سے کر رہے تھے، جامِ شہادت نوش کر گئے۔

20 ستمبر 2026 کو ضلع ہنگو میں سیکیورٹی فورسز کے قافلے اور خوارج کے درمیان فائرنگ کا تبادلہ ہوا۔ مؤثر جوابی کارروائی کے نتیجے میں سیکیورٹی فورسز نے 8 خوارج کو ہلاک کر دیا۔

تاہم، شدید فائرنگ کے تبادلے کے دوران اپنے دستوں کی قیادت فرنٹ سے کرنے والے دو بہادر افسران، کیپٹن ابوذر فاروق (عمر: 23 سال، ضلع گوجرانوالہ کے رہائشی) اور لیفٹیننٹ شیراز بابر (عمر: 22 سال، ضلع چکوال کے رہائشی) نے انتہائی بہادری سے لڑتے ہوئے وطن کے لیے اپنی جانوں کا نذرانہ پیش کیا اور جامِ شہادت نوش کیا۔ ان کے ساتھ پاک فوج کے چار جوان بھی شہید ہوئے۔
