Next month, I'm planning to go watch the Bournemouth game at the Vitality and the Derby della Madonnina at the San Siro.

But my main concern right now is: what if Amorim decides to start both Terracciano and Estupiñán in both games?

How would I get my refund? 😭

AC Milan fans might look at the 1-1 draw and feel the frustration of conceding in stoppage time.

But honestly, Maignan and De Winter are big reasons we were even in a position to feel frustrated.

Juventus found ways to threaten us repeatedly, and Maignan had to make some huge saves to keep us in the game.

While the result was a draw, Milan had just 3 shots in 90 minutes, with our only shot on target being the goal.

The performance clearly says we still have work to do.

The players need more time to fully understand Amorim's football. I believe in this team, and I think we should give them that time too.

I'm happy if Amorim builds a Milan that becomes difficult to beat, as was the case tonight. But we're not yet at the point where we can consistently control games against the big teams.

And that's okay. We're still building.

Did anyone else watch Juventus yesterday?

Because boyyy, they were not shy about shooting long range shots when Parma denied them clean access into the box 18.

I think that's something we need to be very conscious of next Sunday in Turin.

We can't just protect the box and assume we've done the job. We have to close down the spaces around it too, because Juve have players willing to punish us when that window opens.

It's why I'm really looking forward to this game. Amorim's pressing structure with this new Milan is going to be seriously tested.

Two weeks after my birthday, I gifted myself my first ever AC Milan jersey. ❤️🖤

I've supported this great club since I was a kid, so finally owning an AC Milan jersey feels special.

I can't wait for this season to start tonight. I also really look forward to experiencing the great San Siro this season, hopefully even for the Derby della Madonnina with Milan at home.

More than anything, I just want to see mighty Milan back where they belong: at the summit of club football.

I think the real takeaway is that unlike other sports, football may not have an SI unit for measuring greatness. The World Cup is the biggest prize in football, but it's also one of the achievements least under an individual player's control. You don't choose the country you're born into.
