Today, our Hon’ble Chairperson, @MamataOfficial, took to the streets demanding justice for the brutal rape and murder in #Baruipur.

It is deeply unfortunate and strongly condemnable that the @BJP4Bengal government’s police attempted to obstruct a peaceful march. This is a BLATANT STRANGULATION OF DEMOCRATIC RIGHTS.

Such repressive conduct only exposes @SuvenduWB’s insecurities.

No authoritarian crackdown can extinguish this movement. Under Didi’s leadership, our fight to uphold the dignity, safety, and rights of Bengal’s women will continue undeterred.

Alarming visuals from the same lane outside the homes of @MamataOfficial and @abhishekaitc in Kalighat. Why are central forces being deployed to restrict freedom of movement and confine them to their homes. Route march happening now. Confinement using force!

Restrict their voices. Restrict their movement. Restrict their democratic rights.

With heavy police deployment, route marches are suspiciously being conducted right outside the residences of our Hon’ble Chairperson @MamataOfficial and our Hon’ble National General Secretary @abhishekaitc.

This is an ALARMING SITUATION and raises serious questions. It appears to be nothing more than a DELIBERATE AND COWARDLY DISPLAY OF INTIMIDATION by the @BJP4Bengal Government, driven by someone’s insecurity and pettiness.

.@BJP4India doesn't just fail women, it fosters a climate where those accused of heinous crimes appear to believe they enjoy political protection.

Where political connections seem to influence justice.
Where influence appears to speak louder than the rule of law.
Where disturbing questions arise over whether political pressure is overshadowing the pursuit of justice.

That is the real tragedy behind the Baruipur horror!

BJP came to Bengal promising women's safety and security. Instead, every such incident raises fresh questions about its HOLLOW PROMISES.

The silence is equally telling.

No protests.
No outrage.
No demands for accountability.
No demands for resignations.
No sudden awakening of conscience.

When justice becomes selective and outrage becomes political, it is not only the victim who suffers, it is society that pays the price.

Bengal is witnessing the complete normalisation of violence under @BJP4India’s GOONDA RAJ.

In the early hours of this morning, an individual arrived outside my family’s residence, stopped his bike and repeatedly hurled a large stone at my home, shattering the first floor windows.

THIS IS NOT MERELY A COLLAPSE OF LAW AND ORDER. THIS IS THE DANGEROUS INSTITUTIONALISATION OF VIOLENCE.

Where was the police? Under whose instructions did this miscreant carry out such a brazen attack and walk away with complete impunity?

This is the terrifying reality of Bengal today: A regime that has normalised violence, empowered hooligans and created an atmosphere where those indulging in criminal acts operate with absolute confidence because they believe the State will protect them.

Will the newly passed West Bengal Public Safety and Control of Anti Social Activities Bill, 2026 be applied to BJP backed criminals as well?

Shocked, disturbed, and deeply concerned by what Bengal is being reduced to.
