No Indian Prime Minister had visited Norway in the last 43 years. But Modi ji went. Do you know why?

On February 27, 2026, Norway’s Sovereign Wealth Fund blacklisted Adani's company, Adani Green Energy.

A massive oil reserve was discovered in Norway's seas in 1990. By selling this oil, Norway started generating a vast amount of money. However, Norway knew that oil would not last forever, so they created a fund and began depositing the oil revenue into it.

Norway invests the money from this fund exclusively outside Norway so that its economy remains unaffected under any circumstances. This fund primarily invests money in the stock market, in lending to other countries, in purchasing properties abroad, and in renewable energy projects like solar and wind energy.

It holds 1.5% of the shares of listed companies worldwide. This Norwegian fund owns shares in 7,200 companies, including Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, and Nvidia. The fund has so much money that if it were distributed among every citizen of Norway, each person would receive more than 3 crore rupees.

This fund maintains high ethical standards. It does not invest in companies that manufacture tobacco, produce nuclear weapons, violate human rights, or engage in corruption. It blacklists them. It was precisely due to serious allegations of corruption against Adani that it blacklisted his company.

Now understand the chronology:
No Prime Minister had visited Norway for 43 years. Norway blacklisted Adani Green on February 26, and on May 18, Modi ji arrived in Norway. He got delayed only because the Bengal elections came up in between, otherwise, our beloved Modi ji would not have waited even a single moment for his friend. Is there really anything left to explain?

Over in America, when a case was filed against Adani for allegedly giving a bribe of 2,000 crore rupees, a trade deal was struck with America. Under this deal, the doors of India were opened for American agricultural companies, tariffs were imposed on Indian companies in America, and India received absolutely nothing in return.

A few days later, the American court closed Adani's case permanently. And now, Adani will invest 1 billion dollars in America.

Do you people still have any doubt that the honor of this country is being sold to save Adani?

No, Germany didn't technically start the Second World War, Hitler was forced to.

A lot of Americans have no idea who Husayn ibn Ali is, but they should if they want to understand what’s happening in the Middle East right now.

Husayn ibn Ali was the grandson of the Prophet Muhammad. In 680 CE, he refused to pledge allegiance to Yazid, the Umayyad ruler who had effectively transformed the early Islamic caliphate into hereditary dynastic rule. Husayn would not legitimize what he believed to be corrupt and unjust authority.

He traveled toward Kufa after receiving letters of support, but before any political uprising could materialize, he and a small band of family members and companions were surrounded and killed at the battle of Karbala.

For Shiʿa Muslims, this battle at Karbala is the moral axis of their theology. Husayn became their eternal symbol of resistance to tyranny, even when defeat is certain. His martyrdom represents the belief that justice may lose militarily but triumph spiritually and morally.

And this is not an abstract doctrine, it has practical & material implications. Husayn’s martyrdom is reenacted annually by Muslims during Ashura, their most important day of mourning. And it shapes the political consciousness of Shiʿa Muslims today.

Husayn’s memory has deeply influenced the Iranian Revolution since the beginning. Revolutionary leaders explicitly invoked Karbala, portraying resistance to foreign domination and domestic authoritarianism as a reenactment of Husayn’s stand against illegitimate power.

Iran is majority Shiʿa, and its political culture consciously draws on the symbolism of Karbala. When Iranian leaders frame confrontation with the United States as resistance to empire, they are invoking this narrative that justice requires sacrifice against overwhelming force.

And now, with the killing of Ali Khamenei, many inside Iran and across the Shiʿa world will inevitably interpret this event through that same lens.

In Shiʿa political theology, a leader killed by a powerful foreign adversary does not simply die, he becomes a martyr, a part of a sacred story of resistance.

And now Trump & the drunken buffoon Pete Hegseth have killed their spiritual leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, for the same reason that Husayn ibn Ali was killed, standing up against unjust authority.

They thought they had toppled the Islamic Revolution, when in fact they have emboldened it & given it another spiritual-political martyr. They have unified Shia people all across the region against the forces of imperialism.

One must wonder if they took the time to learn this history before launching strikes on Iran, or if they were just blindly following whatever Bibi Netanyahu told them to do.

Here is the scam that just played out in front of your eyes:
Big Banks (like JP Morgan) bet that the price of Silver would go DOWN.
But regular people started buying. The price went UP.
The Banks were losing billions. They were about to go bankrupt.

So what did they do?
Did they pay up? Did they admit they lost?
No.

They literally turned off the computer.
The London Metal Exchange "paused" trading.
HSBC's systems "went offline."
They unplugged the slot machine while you were winning.

While the screens were off, they changed the rules.
They forced the price down behind closed doors.
When they turned the screens back on, your profit was gone.
They kept their money. You lost yours.

This isn't a "free market."
It is a rigged game where the house cheats the moment you start winning.
There are 300 paper "IOUs" for every 1 ounce of real silver in the vault.
They sold you gold and silver that doesn't exist.
And when you tried to cash out, they locked the doors.

Stop playing by their rules.
They will never let you win.

It’s official folks: being Indian is a timing risk abroad.

We don’t realise how far this reputation has travelled until you’re standing at a random bus stop next to your hotel in Fukuoka, Japan at 7:40 a.m., holding a tour voucher, half-awake, trying to look “normal”.

Reporting time: 8:00. Takachiho day tour. Group of 9 friends.

The guide, an elderly Japanese man, starts ticking names off a printed list. Sees mine, nods, then pauses on the next line where it says there are 8 more Indians.

He looks up and asks where the rest are.

I say, “A few minutes” (in my broken Japanese + hand gestures, because obviously).

And he just… laughs. Not rude, not mean. The kind, polite laugh that’s basically disbelief doing customer service. Then he repeats, multiple times, slower each time, like he’s talking to a toddler:

“Bus… leaves… eight… sharp.”

Like, sir, I can hear you. I’m also a person who can read time.

He asks again if I’m sure they’ll come. And again. And again. Each time with this tiny smile that says, “Yeah, I’ve seen this movie.”

And in that moment you realise something slightly grim: you’re not being treated as an individual. You’re being treated as a probability distribution.

Not “Are your friends here?” but “Are Indians capable of this?”

I’m there early. I’m literally the counterexample. Doesn’t matter. The stereotype walks in before you do.

Those 10 minutes between 7:40 and 7:50 were genuinely stressful, because if even ONE person showed up late, it wouldn’t just be “Arre he’s late”.

It would be “Of course they’re late.”

You know that feeling when you’re forced to silently represent 1.4 billion people at 8 a.m. outside a tour bus.

Thankfully, everyone turned up by 7:50.

Not 8:01. Not “almost there”. Not “2 mins”. Properly early.

I gave the guide the smallest, most respectful “I told you so” look possible without getting deported.

He was nice after that. Zero hostility. But the first reaction said everything.

And this is the bit Indians don’t want to admit: people abroad already have a pre-loaded template about us, and it’s not flattering. It’s not just punctuality, either. Punctuality is just the easiest stereotype to express out loud.

So yeah. Make your jokes about “Indian Standard Time” if you want. Just know the world is taking notes, and sometimes you’re the one paying the reputation tax at 7:58 a.m. in rural Japan.

Do we even realise how often we’re being pre-judged like this?
