@johnjohnsoe5r4@RawWarBro Because we are not "white", we are Irish. 2 things can be true at once that you can have opposition to what is happening without having to jump into bed with the anglo.
@BigG1538881@RawWarBro The United Irishmen did not collaborate with loyalists. Presbyterians were a driving force, not loyalists. They were a seperatist, republican force.
@MonaghanGAAFans A day were nothing went for us. Between refereeing, chances missed, injuries etc. Would fancy us in the next round if we can avoid Kerry however. Need to be more clinical when it comes to goal scoring though, been a probably stretching back to Dublin game in the league
@MeAgainCG@PeteFarrell14 This only works as an arguement if you believe businesses to be semi mystical evil entities and not places people actually work
@pyjamas_black The worst thing is when she gets so defensive when asked what her solutions would be. Almost as if having to come up with a solution may expose that the problem is not what she claims it is. Her defense is that they are nitpickers, yet I havent heard her give even a broad outline
@Castlereagh_@AaronBastani You can only start to see an increase in the population during the 60s, 100 years after the famine. Which is the 100 years I was referring to.
@Castlereagh_@AaronBastani That entirely ignores every context surrounding population growth globally during that time period. This is the issue with equilibria driven models, the context is always changing and you then end up with a constantly declining population for 100 years and calling that stability.
@Castlereagh_@AaronBastani This is just wrong. The population did not stabilise, it decreased for 100 years after the famine. Malthusian nonsense used to justify genocide.
@UpMyKilt_@DunkDawk Of these only Swift did not at least partially consider himself Irish. Your point about language is moot considering Americans are on this list. Notice how you also do not mention Joyce was educated by jesuits and went to what was the predecessor to UCD.
@hoodfrezh@yuanyi_z@HoeMcAdams I haven't denied it did not happen and I haven't denied there weren't people in Australia participating in Empire. Part of the British Empire is different than willingly part of the British Empire.
