This is the first time since 1999 that a candidate who lost a presidential election continued to work and publicly engage (over a year later), and not just disappear totally or just to show up four years later. His continuing engagement has forced the PDP to be a more policy-involved opposition party this time around.
As they say, one can tell if the weekend would be good even from the middle of the week. Peter Obi would have been an effective president, but we were rigged out of a great chance for leadership reset.
It is indeed beautiful to behold a people celebrating because someone won an election. It simply shows that He was the people's choice as we see in Abia. Did we see that in the presidential election?
