Maulana Tausif Raza Mazhari was a resident of Bakhotoli village in Thakurganj block of Kishanganj district, Bihar.
Maulana Tausif Raza Mazhari, aged 30, was returning from an Urs in Bareilly when he was allegedly brutally assaulted by a group of intoxicated individuals and thrown from a moving train. He lost his life in the attack.
According to his wife, his final moments were extremely horrifying. He called her and said that some people were holding him, beating him, hurling abuses, and he was continuously pleading for help. He also mentioned that there were other passengers in the coach, but no one was coming forward to assist him.
Despite this, initial responses from railway authorities have described the incident as an “accident.”
The question arises: if a person is himself stating during a call that he is being attacked, how can his death be termed an “accident”?
This is not an isolated incident.
Maulana Tausif Raza Mazhari’s last call directly challenges the claim that it was an “accident.”
