i take EVERYTHING as a sign from God in life. any small inconvenience. like maybe I didn't need to go to this place, maybe I don't need this person in my life, that job may not be for me, and maybe this is saving me from something only GOD can see. no loses, forever lessons 😌
hardest pill i had to swallow this year is learning how to pick myself back up & how to cope without the ppl who i thought would be in my life for a long time i had to realize that you have to do shit for yourself bc the only person that will put you back on your two feet is you
Tavi is … interesting. There’s no way in hell I’m gonna be cool with somebody who beat me up on my birthday and gave me a black eye 😩 #BaddiesUSAChapter2
#Doinglife could definitely have been a limited series, a lot of the story developments fell flat.
1. Carousel’s paintings disappear and he rediscovers them while working, but we didn't get to see how that developed, especially regarding his knowledge of the law and how he challenged the gallery to get them back.
2. Trina got off too easily as well. Carousel did all that work to uncover that she's a crook… I think it would have been great to see him connect the dots about how Trina, Brandon, and the sham lawyer played with the money.
3. If it were a limited series, we would have seen Anika get into nursing school and Carousel start his career as a paralegal or become a renowned artist.
Good concept, solid actors, rushed writing.
