@RinoTheBouncer I am not okay with it, but I had the option to remain with console gaming for over 20 years in order to stick with physical ownership. Now that option is going away. Nintendo keycards are digital with extra steps and Xbox is all about digital subscriptions.

@PlayStation Funny that this comes a week after Rockstar announcing no physical support for GTA6. You waited to see how the biggest game of the decade would sell without an option for physical to make this decission. So in an unfortunate way, consumers carry huge part of the blame for this.

@PlayStation I have always said that if I am inevitably going to be pushed into digital gaming, I will play where it plays best and with most features available. While I knew it was coming sooner or later, I consider it an advance warning to retire from consoles and move to PC.

This shouldn't come as a surprise. It has been looming on the horizon for years. If anything be thankful for the advance warning. Now it's up to consumers which direction they wanna go.

@sunaevt Heard it got overhauled completely and is indeed a much different game now. Sadly the negativity surrounding it from the start never went away, leaving it in that obscure limbo of videogame duds. As a result, many people have no clue it's actually a pretty decent game now.

@Gadyuka86F No need to worry. This is a licensing issue and has no bearing on the potential for a continuation of the series. It was never officially cancelled and there is a lot more source material to continue. I suspect a new season will eventually get announced. Patience is a virtue.

To everyone complaining about this: We warned you, years ago, that this was going to happen. Ease of access over ownership comes at a cost, this is the price you pay. Either buy physical media or sail the high seas, but stop relying on and paying for these garbage stream services
