My name is Ken, a full time equities trader. I worked at a prop firm 2013-2016. After becoming profitable I decided to move to Japan. Youtube: Nakama Traders
A sage once said;
‘When in China, speak Chinese.’
But never gave you the necessary language skills

It’s the same with learning to trade from watching YouTube vids or following Trading Guru’s
People love to tell you WHAT to do, but never tell you HOW to do it
My only regret when it comes to Day Trading, is that I didn’t start earlier.
It’s so much easier in your early 20s when you don’t have any real obligations.
A lot of people struggling in this market reminded me of the following quote;
‘The core problem is the need to fit markets into a style of trading, rather than finding ways to trade that fit with the market behavior’

Adapt or lose.
Which animal do you see first?
Some people see the duck first. Others the rabbit.
This psychological problem also affects us in trading.
It’s easy to see one side of the picture.
If you want to go LONG for example, all you see are confirmations; having a bias blinds you.
A lot of you need to hear this.
If you’ve been trading for more than 2 years and you’re still not consistently profitable;
Stop.
People have this mistaken belief if they just keep trading, they will eventually become consistent.
No; there’s something wrong with what ur doing
People love entertainment.
Easy and incorrect trading videos have over 1M views on YT.
While videos which have valuable information have less than 10K views; bcs it’s hard and not fun.

Do you want to have fun or do you want to make a living with trading?
Remember that game;
‘Look up at the stars? What do you see?’
Some might see a horse, others a cat
——————————————-
It’s the same with trading using charts and technical analysis.
You’ll only see what you WANT to see.
Stop playing a losers game an start playing the correct way.
New people (and guru’s) love to oversimplify trading.
-Risk 1% of your capital
-Risk 1R to make 2R
-Master 1 strategy
-You only need price action

Making something easy to learn worked well in High School;
NOT with Trading.
Don’t trade like the 99% who lose.
5 Reasons why Trader fail;
1. Not using Buying Power efficiently
2. Not adding to winners
3. Not being RISK ON when it matters
4. Not Journaling | Reviewing trades
5. Not adapting to changing Markets
