The truth has come to bite Ruto, and this is where propaganda meets facts.

People keep asking what Uhuru Kenyatta was doing with our money. Here is a simple reminder:

Without burdening Kenyan workers with an Affordable Housing Levy, Uhuru’s government fully completed 16,000 affordable housing units in four years.

Under Ruto, with the Housing Levy already being deducted from workers, KNBS data shows only 8,000 units fully completed in four years. And remember, some of those units were already under construction when Uhuru left office.

Then comes the argument: “But Uhuru was borrowing!”

Let’s look at the numbers.

In 10 years, Uhuru borrowed about KSh 6.8 trillion.

In just four years, Ruto has already borrowed about KSh 4.3 trillion.

So before anyone shouts propaganda, let’s talk facts.

Propaganda can make noise, but facts eventually catch up.

The question Kenyans should be asking is simple: If workers are being taxed for housing and the government is still borrowing heavily, where is the value for the ordinary Kenyan?

A total of 22 pedestrians have been arraigned in court for willfully obstructing the free flow of traffic at Allsops footbridge.

The Authority in collaboration with NPS and the Nairobi City County will continue educating pedestrians on safe road use.

As at 30th June 2026, Pedestrians accounted for 38% of all road traffic crashes. This is alarming and ending pedestrian fatalities requires concerted efforts from everyone, and we call upon all stakeholders to play their part.

As the primary road users, pedestrian compliance is vital. Pedestrians must commit to using available footbridges and designated crossings at all times.
