The root cause for the worrying escalation of violence in the Middle East is the Israeli occupation and treatment of Palestinians by Israel. If Israel had adhered to international law, today's escalation of violence would not have occurred, thousands of innocent lives would not have been lost, and thousands would not have been injured and millions would not have been displaced. Every human being, Palestinian and Israeli deserves to live in Peace.
