District SP Sharath Chandra Pawar, IPS, received complaints from the public during the Police Grievance Day program held at the Nalgonda District Police Office.
A total of around 46 complainants from various parts of the district submitted petitions regarding their grievances, including land disputes, family conflicts, fraud cases, and other issues.
The District SP personally reviewed each complaint and spoke directly with the concerned police officials, directing them to resolve the issues promptly and in accordance with the law. He also instructed officials to take appropriate legal action to ensure justice for the complainants.
While interacting with the petitioners, the SP encouraged the public to come forward without hesitation with any issues they face and assured them that every complaint would be examined transparently and necessary action would be taken.
He further directed officials to act responsibly and avoid negligence in addressing pending complaints. The SP stated that providing better policing services and ensuring public satisfaction remain the primary objectives of the district police department.

Nalgonda District Superintendent of Police, Shri Sharath Chandra Pawar, IPS. conducted a surprise inspection of the Nalgonda DSP Office and Two Town CI Office to review administrative functioning, case investigation progress, and record management.
During the inspection, the SP sir examined grave crime files, pending case records, and SC/ST Atrocity case files, directing officers to expedite investigations and ensure timely justice for victims. And also reviewed the progress of investigations into murder, robbery, crimes against women and children, and cybercrime cases, emphasizing quality investigations backed by strong evidence to secure convictions.
The SP sir further assessed CCTNS data entry, digital record maintenance, court case follow-up, and warrant execution, instructing officers to work responsibly and strengthen public confidence in the police. SP sir reiterated that negligence in maintaining law and order will not be tolerated and directed all officers to remain accessible to the public and resolve grievances promptly.

With the objective of maintaining law and order, preventing crime, and enhancing the sense of security among the public, extensive Naka Bandi operations and surprise vehicle checks were conducted across all police station limits in Nalgonda district on Saturday night as per the directions of Nalgonda District SP Sharath Chandra Pawar, IPS. The District SP personally participated in the inspections, reviewed the arrangements at various locations, and issued necessary instructions to police officers.
A total of 47 check posts were established across the district, and extensive vehicle inspections were carried out with the participation of nearly 1,500 police officers and personnel. Special surveillance was maintained in Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Devarakonda, major towns, national highways, busy junctions, vulnerable areas, and locations where groups of youths frequently gather during nighttime.
During the operation, two-wheelers, cars, auto-rickshaws, and other vehicles were thoroughly inspected. Police verified vehicle documents, driving licences, and registration number plates, while giving special attention to motorists driving under the influence of alcohol. Action was taken against 260 vehicles for various violations, including riding without helmets, triple riding, rash driving, modified silencers, and driving vehicles without proper number plates.
Police also questioned suspicious persons moving around during late-night hours and recorded their details. Special monitoring was carried out on the movements of known offenders, rowdy sheeters, and suspicious vehicles.
Speaking on the occasion, District SP Sharath Chandra Pawar, IPS, stated, “We will not tolerate any activities that disturb law and order in the district. Ensuring public safety is the primary objective of the police department. Such surprise inspections will continue regularly as part of our efforts to prevent and control crime. Strict action will be taken against traffic violators, suspicious persons roaming during nighttime, and those who create fear or inconvenience among the public.”
The SP further advised youth to respect the law and act responsibly. He warned that cases would be registered and vehicles seized against those involved in road stunts, operating vehicles with excessive noise, or engaging in activities that cause inconvenience to the public.
The District SP also appealed to citizens to cooperate with the police and immediately report any suspicious persons or incidents, emphasizing that maintaining peace and public safety is a shared responsibility of all members of society.

Massive Cordon and Search Operation Conducted in Nalgonda Town to Curb Crime – SP shri Sharath Chandra Pawar IPS.
Under the directions of SP shri Sharath Chandra Pawar, IPS the Nalgonda District Police conducted a large-scale early morning Cordon and Search Operation across Nalgonda town. Police teams carried out intensive checks in Satish Nagar and several other sensitive areas to maintain law and order, identify suspects, and prevent illegal activities.
The operation was supervised by Nalgonda DSP shri Shivaram Reddy with participation from 7 Circle Inspectors, 18 Sub-Inspectors, narcotics detection dog squads, and nearly 200 police personnel. Extensive inspections were conducted at colonies, lodges, rented rooms, the railway station, bus stand, and major junctions.
Police searched around 360 houses and identified 46 suspects for verification. Authorities also traced 18 persons from other states, including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Tamil Nadu, Assam, and Haryana. During the operation, 2 rowdy sheeters and 5 trouble mongers were identified and placed under surveillance.
As part of the drive, ganja tests were conducted on six individuals, with two testing positive for consumption. Police also seized 16 illegal gutka bags, 54 improperly documented two-wheelers, 2 auto-rickshaws, 2 modified noisy vehicles, and 4 mobile phones.
Police warned that strict action will be taken against habitual offenders and individuals disturbing public peace. Citizens were urged to immediately report suspicious persons and illegal activities to the police.

Nalgonda District CCS Police and Kattangur Police jointly arrested an inter-district criminal gang involved in a series of robberies and chain-snatching incidents targeting elderly people and women along National Highway police station limits. Police seized approximately 75 grams of gold ornaments worth ₹22 lakh, one Hyundai Verna car, and two mobile phones from the accused.

On the night of 10-03-2026 at around 8:30 PM, Ayithagoni Sunil, a resident of Kattangur Mandal, along with his friend, had dinner at a tiffin center on the outskirts of Muthyalammagudem village and was returning on a Bullet motorcycle. Near Kattangur village, they stopped their bike on the roadside. At that time, three miscreants arrived in a car, attacked them, threatened to kill them, and forcibly snatched a two-tola gold chain from Sunil before fleeing the scene.
Based on the victim’s complaint lodged at Kattangur Police Station on 15-05-2026, SI Ravinder registered a case and initiated an investigation. Following the directions of District SP Sharath Chandra Pawar, special teams were formed under the supervision of Nalgonda DSP Shivaram Reddy and the leadership of CCS Inspector Jitender Reddy.
As part of the investigation, during vehicle checking conducted at Nalgonda X Road, Kattangur, on 16-05-2026, accused A-2 Shaik Chand Pasha was apprehended. Police seized the Hyundai Verna car bearing registration number TS08-FX-1231 used in the crime along with two mobile phones and remanded him to judicial custody.
Police launched a manhunt using advanced technical surveillance to trace absconding accused A-1 Pakala Dharma Teja and A-3 Syed Ramzan Vali. Early this morning around 6 AM, while checking vehicles traveling from Vijayawada towards Hyderabad, police noticed two suspects traveling in a lorry attempting to escape after seeing the police. Officers immediately chased and apprehended them.
Modus Operandi (MO) of the Accused
The accused mainly targeted elderly people, women, and passengers walking in areas lacking bus facilities between 5 PM and 9 PM along highways. Investigation revealed that they threatened and assaulted victims before robbing them of gold ornaments.
Speaking on the occasion, District SP Sharath Chandra Pawar advised the public to remain vigilant as criminal movement in villages tends to increase during the summer season. He particularly urged women not to move alone at night wearing expensive gold ornaments and cautioned people against sleeping on rooftops while wearing jewelry. He also emphasized that installation of CCTV cameras in villages would greatly help police in solving such crimes quickly.

District SP shri Sharath Chandra Pawar, IPS. conducted a special counselling session for sand transport tractor drivers and vehicle owners at the Miryalaguda Rural Police Station regarding illegal sand transportation.
The SP sir warned that strict legal action would be taken against anyone involved in illegal sand mining and transportation in violation of government rules. And stated that intensified police enforcement has significantly increased government revenue from sand operations in the district. Revenue from sand reached ₹35 crore in 2024, ₹43 crore in 2025, and has already crossed ₹83 crore in 2026 so far.
The SP sir revealed that around 196 illegal sand transportation cases have been registered in Nalgonda district this year. Vehicles involved in illegal transportation are being seized and cases are being booked against offenders. also warned against transporting sand without permits, overloading vehicles, and using fake bills.
Special surveillance is being carried out during night hours to curb illegal sand transport. Drivers were advised to follow traffic rules and avoid drunk driving. The public was urged to inform police about any illegal sand mining or transportation activities.

District SP sir Conducts Crime Review Meeting with Police Officials.
Shri Sharath Chandra Pawar, IPS District Superintendent of Police, conducted a monthly crime review meeting with police officials and directed them to complete investigations quickly without leaving pending cases and stressed effective policing for maintenance of law and order, crime control, road safety, prevention of narcotics, and better public services.
The SP sir reviewed the progress of POCSO, grave, non-grave, and SC/ST atrocity cases, and instructed officers to speed up investigations and file charge sheets on time. District Superintendent of Police Sharath Chandra Pawar urged the public to actively participate in the prestigious Census–2027 programme being conducted by the Government of India and ensure accurate registration of their family details.

Official enumerators, he said, would never ask for Aadhaar numbers, bank account details, ATM information, OTPs, or passwords under any circumstances. Citizens were advised not to share such sensitive information with anyone.
The public was advised to provide only general information related to household facilities, number of family members, education, employment, drinking water availability, and housing conditions. He further warned people not to trust fraudsters making phone calls, sending messages, or sharing links seeking personal or banking details in the name of the Census.
The SP advised citizens to immediately report any suspicious persons, fraudulent calls, or cyber fraud attempts to the nearest police station or the Cyber Crime Helpline 1930.
He emphasized that public cooperation is vital for the successful completion of the Census process and that accurate data collection would contribute significantly to the nation’s development. He called upon every family to participate responsibly and make Census–2027 a success.

•In view of the upcoming Bakrid festival, stringent surveillance has been arranged across the district to prevent illegal transportation of cattle, said District SP Sharath Chandra Pawar, IPS.
•The District SP personally inspected vehicles at the check post near Chityal Railway Station and issued several instructions to police personnel.
•Officials were directed to maintain special focus on suspicious vehicles entering and passing through the district.
•Special instructions were given to conduct continuous checks on vehicles illegally transporting cattle.
•Round-the-clock surveillance has been ordered at all check posts across the district.
•Police personnel were instructed to thoroughly inspect suspicious lorries, DCMs, and other small vehicles.
•The SP stated that surprise inspections would also be conducted during night hours with special surveillance teams.

*Special Measures by Police Department in Government Paddy Procurement Process*
District SP Sharath Chandra Pawar, IPS, warned that strict action will be taken against anyone involved in cheating farmers during paddy procurement operations. He stated that the Nalgonda District Police have initiated special measures to ensure speedy procurement of Rabi paddy and to prevent inconvenience to farmers. On Wednesday, the SP conducted surprise inspections at Vasundhara, RSV, Anantha Sai, and Paraboiled rice mills under Miryalaguda limits and reviewed the situation.
The SP instructed rice millers to give first priority to unloading paddy received from government procurement centers and directed that every lorry reaching the mill points should be unloaded within 12 hours and sent back to procurement centers without delay. He also stated that one police constable has been deployed at every mill point to prevent delays and inconvenience to farmers during the unloading process.
The SP said that incidents such as excess weighing in the name of “thalu,” illegal deductions, unnecessary pressure on farmers in the name of quality checks, and reduction in payments are being reported from some procurement centers and mills. He further noted that some lorry owners and hamalis are allegedly demanding extra money from farmers for loading paddy bags.
District SP Sharath Chandra Pawar warned that criminal cases will be registered against anyone involved in illegal collections, cheating, or exploitation of farmers. He appealed to farmers to immediately inform the nearest police station or Dial-100 if they face any illegal collections, threats, or harassment during the procurement process.

*Two ARSIs Promoted as RSIs in Armed Reserve Wing*
Two Armed Reserve Sub-Inspectors (ARSIs), Hathiram and Venkataramulu, serving in the Armed Reserve (AR) wing of Nalgonda district, have been promoted as Reserve Sub-Inspectors (RSIs). On this occasion, they met District Superintendent of Police Sharath Chandra Pawar, IPS, at the District Police Office and received his congratulations.
