2024 is one for the books! Bruh the highs were high and the lows were low! I found strength I never knew I had, and with God, made it through. I can only be grateful. If there’s one thing I know, it’s that my God has got me, and He’s not about to fail me now. So 2024, thank you☺️
Among the hooligans on a rampage, I noticed four wearing Real Madrid jerseys, two in Manchester United shirts, and another four in Chelsea colors. This leads me to believe that these individuals consider themselves supporters of these clubs, and, in turn, the clubs should bear responsibility for their unlawful actions.
But I’m sure you see the apparent absurdity in that reasoning.
As such, just because someone is wearing a particular party’s shirt doesn't mean they belong to that party or that their actions should be pinned on that party.
It's common knowledge that these parties distribute their shirts to anyone willing to wear them during their campaign. Unsavory characters can easily start or join groups to engage in criminal behavior while wearing these party shirts, regardless of their political leanings.
While we debate which party is to blame, we ignore a more pressing issue: the real threat to our peace, security, and national assets and those responsible for safeguarding these interests.
Instead of focusing on the parties, we should question why the police aren't showing the same determination in addressing this violence as they did with #OccupyJulorbi protesters. It’s time to call out their hypocrisy and urge them to restore order. After all, the parties have disowned these hooligans and invited the police to take action.
What we're not going to do is allow shallow, belated admissions of what we have all lived through to rehabilitate the mouthpiece who denied our lived reality for 8 years.
A monumental disappointment who exemplified the worst of the arrogance and intellectual dishonesty.
So Al Jazeera sent their team to our President’s hometown, Kyebi to film the galamsey operations happening in that area. Huge swathes of land and 92% of the country’s waterways have been polluted by galamsey.
