@anubha1812 had filed Interim Application in Bombay High Court seeking #JEEMains3rdSessionInMay before April 6th but there isn't much discussion about it here. Maybe because everyone expects it to be dismissed stating 'Policy Decision'. They couldn't be more wrong. (1/n)
@anubha1812 Thank you for all what you are doing.
If 75% is struck down for droppers and if possible, please request 3rd session for sake of partial droppers who didn't register.
It need not affect eligibility for Advance to avoid issues.
Delhi High Court rejected the plea moved by 67 students who are class 12th pass-outs of the year 2021 who could not use their opportunity of JEE (Advanced) Examination because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

@zuhair_khatib@anubha1812 Purely policy decision without any exceptional circumstances. Cannot be challenged in court. Only JAB (IIT Group) or offices/ministries they work under can help you with that.
@Crabbypixel@anubha1812 Yes, but this is about a friend of mine. Partial dropper. Couldn't afford to risk 1st year for potentially nothing and stopped preparing for JEE after announcement of 75% criteria.
@LiveLawIndia The criteria discriminates between 2021,2022 and would be 2023 droppers. 2021,2022 passouts gave boards, even improvement exams under different circumstances.
@BhartiYashkumar@aaronboshm@anubha1812 I don't know. Also, I am not in any way related to legal profession. If I have to guess, it is very unlikely to come in petitioners' favour.
@aaronboshm@anubha1812 If petitioners requested then maybe, depends a lot on the judge. Even if it is declared in thier favour after 7th May, court will ask NTA to reopen window for droppers as long as judgment is given well in advance.
@anubha1812 They could postpone Advance by 1 month and it would still be earlier than last year. Last year they willfully delayed If petition is not dismissed, please try for an attempt by 5 june or before CUET. Proximity with CUET won't be an issue as this is only a compensatory attempt.
@anubha1812 Ma'am,
If 75% is struck down for droppers, Can droppers with <75% move Court requesting a 3rd Session? They didn't register for other two because there was no point in doing so.
