This is the state of Bukomero - Dwaniro road in Kiboga District. Of course the whole country is in a similar mess, but for the people of Kiboga, Luwero, Mubende, etc you cannot miss the deep sense of betrayal. This is what they got in return for being the 'theatre' of the NRA war during which many of their relatives lost their lives. 37 years later, it's very difficult to imagine that they have to put up with such roads in addition to humiliating levels of poverty and lack. This is why we must never tire until our country is liberated!
