@Gconsilient Yeah it's a feature. And that feature makes multiples useless imo.

The fact that I need to check for differences in growth rates and all the stuff you do in a DCF makes multiples not worth it.

@Gconsilient And in reality they're not. The problem with multiples is that there never is a good company to compare to. There are always some differences in growth or reinvesment needs.

@Gconsilient I'd never really understand why everyone claims DCF is the primary method of market practitioners and then proceeds to say multiples are better. It's not original.

Reality is that it's other way around. EVERYONE uses multiples and thinks multiples are superior.

The Dollar Curse and a Tariff
I decided to add to the recent discussion about the tariffs as I think my view is less discussed.
My thesis is that they want to fight inequality caused by the dollar. This post is not in favor of tariffs but rather tries to explain their thinking.

I honestly don’t know if they chose a correct path. I don't have required knowledge to asses it, but unlike most people here, I believe there's a reason behind the madness.
