The Red Star (2004 Video Game)

The hack-and-slash action game The Red Star suffered a chaotic release history due to publisher bankruptcy. Originally set to launch for PlayStation 2 and Xbox in fall 2004, the game was almost complete when its publisher, Acclaim Entertainment, shut down and filed for bankruptcy.

Three years later, XS Games rescued the title and quietly published it for the PlayStation 2 in April 2007.
