Alcohol Addiction isn’t a moral failure. It’s a f****** disease. And recovery isnt weakness, it’s war. And I’m winning, and if you’re sober than you’re winning too
@SSB_Rick Yes. The normalization is what makes it tough. Like, why can other people drink in moderation and you’re stuck with this stupid physical allergy?
@so_phie_C Might sound crazy... but I essentially replaced it with hip hop, specifically writing lyrics. It's an outlet to get feelings out there and not hanging out too long unoccupied in my head space.
Recovery isn’t easy, but neither are you weak. Every sober day is a victory. You are not your past—you are the choices you make today.
Stay strong. One day at a time. You’ve got this.
@ConceptRaps I agree. I will say it's a delicate balance. Like, showing off your extensive lexicon is cool as long as you're saying something substantive along with it.
Short and simple: I've been #sober for 9.5 months. I discovered I like rapping about it and dropped an EP today called The (Pre) Come Up on @SoundCloud https://t.co/IcdnkQXocR Just trying to see how far I can take #RecoveryRap
