NCAA, in partnership with ICAO ESAF, is co-hosting the GANP & ASBU Implementation Monitoring Workshop in Windhoek from 23–25 June 2026.

The workshop strengthens collaboration and advance safe, efficient, and sustainable air navigation systems across Africa.

The African Air Transport Convention & Expo has opened in Lomé with 3 Heads of State and 20 Ministers in attendance.
President Kagame called for faster SAATM implementation to boost African connectivity and growth.

The NCAA is hosting a study visit from Kilimanjaro International Airport (Tanzania) from 15–19 June 2026, focused on airport wildlife and livestock management to strengthen aviation safety through technical engagements and site visits.

The NCAA has successfully concluded its 6th In-House Safety & Quality Training Programme on Resolution of Safety Concerns, facilitated by the Singapore Aviation Academy (SAA).

The NCAA successfully concluded its fifth In-House Safety and Quality Training Programme course, Surveillance of Service Providers, on 5 June 2026.

The NCAA hosted its Board Handover and Induction Ceremony on 4 June 2026, welcoming its newly appointed Board of Directors and marking a key governance transition for Namibia’s civil aviation sector.

This week's focus is on Surveillance of Service Providers, strengthening staff skills in aviation safety oversight and regulatory compliance.

On Signa Aviation Training Academy hosted the 2026 AME Award Ceremony in Windhoek, celebrating Namibia’s second cohort of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering graduates.

The event marked another important step in strengthening local aviation training and skills development.

As part of the NCAA’s in-house Safety and Quality Training Programme, we have successfully completed the third of 12 planned training sessions, which took place from 11–15 May 2026.

Today marked the final day of the course, which focused on Safety Management Systems (SMS).
