You are confused to believe that street vendors literally means that need to be in the middle of the streets. Where will you drive your car/cycle/bus?.
Suggest you put your efforts to formalize hawker zones so that these street vendors don't face harassment & extortion.

Honble DCM along with Mr.Laurent waiqueiz, President de la Region , Rhones Alps inaugurated the 3 WAYSTE Company 500 Tons/day capacity state of the art waste sorting centre at Le Puy, France on 1st December 2018. Similar plant is being set up by the same company under BBMP limits

We welcome the Government of Karnataka's proposal to penalise errant officials who allow proliferation of illegal structures.

Now the GoK must ensure that the draft notification will see the day of light and implement KMC Act in its letter and spirit.
