Last Friday I was honored to be presented an award by the lengendary Nigerian actress @PatienceOzokwo. I’m still in disbelief. This little girl from matugga is so proud. Meeting and interacting with her brought back childhold memories. I will forever be grateful to @ikonawards

THE FIRST UGANDAN FILM OF 2025

'JUA KALI ' by Ssemwogerere Nurdeen a.k.a Nersky
(@Nersky01) is set to premiere this weekend on Saturday 4th January and this will make it the first Ugandan film to be released in 2025. Nersky won the award for Best Student Film in Uganda Film Festival (@UgandaFilm) 2024 with his film 'Scold Bridle'.

In JUA KALI, award winning actress Pelly Peninah Nampanga (@NampangaP) plays the lead character in a very challenging way. By the look of the trailer, it seems we are about to be served a western story cooked in Uganda.

I will keep you all posted when the film is out on YouTube.
