💯agree. Teaching is such a valuable path to developing expertise—it pushes you to reflect, improve, and grow. After all, no one’s an expert from day one, and being skilled in one area doesn’t mean you’re an authority in everything. Sadly, academia doesn’t always value educators enough— being ‘clinician educator’ often feels sidelined compared to clinical work or funded research.
