Crews have a fire wrapped up on the corner of Selby and Franklyn. Engine 5 on scene in 3 minutes. Fire was under control quickly once crews gained access. No injuries reported. Our Fire Investigator is on scene.
On New Year’s Eve, Engine 1 and 5 crews practiced a 700-ft hose stretch at the Port of Nanaimo.
Regular training and carefully designed hose loads help Nanaimo firefighters get water on fires quickly. @cityofnanaimo@IAFF905@portnanaimo
