@vtdigger I lived briefly in Washington State & Oregon. I have seen the devastation clear cutting does to the land & environment. NOTHING GOOD comes from it. Erosion, landslides, run offs, etc. Ignorant out of state developers are bane of Vermont's existence, & will be our downfall.

3 months and almost $140,000 to “masticate” 600 acres of food and habitat that wildlife relies on. There are many contracts like this and you’re paying for the destruction. Oftentimes these areas are seeded and then suddenly hundreds of cows and sheep appear.
