@ryangerritsen Scott Reid supported Jean Charest (Liberal) to be leader of the Conservative Party of Canada!!
There’s no mystery here.
They’re running interference for the opposition on mainstream media!
It’s political interference
@Prairielily22 My point is that many people didn’t vote at all because of the belief that actual conservatives are divided rather than recognize that the Mulroney PCs (who were tossed) & can’t be called Conservatives have never stopped attacking real Conservatives!
You miss the extremely important fact that both Clark and Mulroney were federal PCs (destroyed on December 7, 2003) NOT members of the new Conservative Party of Canada, built by Harper. The PCs have been attacking the CPC ever since
I am not glad the Conservative Party is falling apart but I knew that it was always inevitable. I am a self-declared western separatist for a reason. I don't think there's a hope in hell for Saskatchewan and Alberta to ever get a Conservative PM who will fix what doesn't work for the western provinces in this country. If Diefenbaker and Harper couldn't do it, what makes you think Poilievre could? If Poilievre ever manages to become PM, he'll suffer the same fate as poor Joe Clark--one brief minority government before the party dumps him for an eastern Laurentian who screws the West over like Mulroney did. Take the time to read the writing on the wall. Even if you think western independence is a crazy idea, accept that it is really is our best shot.
He has never made a secret of this.
Canadians fell for the algorithmic communication/persuasion (including AI-generated text or social media algorithms), language used by Carney to cause them to believe that he was promoting their interests.
He never has.
He has always actively steered major international initiatives through public and private financial mechanisms.
His policies intersect significantly with the objectives of global institutions like the EU, the WEF, the IMF, and the World Bank
We also have leverage. We've done nothing with it. Instead, our PM makes speeches at Davos, rallies countries against Trump, and steadfastly avoids the negotiating table. Sure, we can keep hoping for a midterm miracle. But hope isn't a strategy. Time for Canada to come of age.
Charles Adler is the Dean Blundell of Senators.
It’s laughable that he claims to be an “independent” one at that.
A vile & unhinged person like this has no place in our Senate.
It’s PC propaganda.
His only success is electing Doug Ford.
Notice that Doug Ford (PC) is siding with Carney over Poilievre?
The CONSERVATIVE Party of Canada is UNITED against the destructive policies of the Laurentian elites (the propagandists)
@JamesMurray2717@Prairielily22 Pierre is a Conservative leader and Cory works as hired help to elect Progressive Conservatives. Two different parties and two extremely different positions.
Cory has NEVER helped to elect a CONSERVATIVE.
He works to elect Progressives (Liberals)
In partnership with Big City Mayors, they also use the same taxpayer funded grant model (embedded with benefit agreements) for newcomers & select identity groups (picking winners and losers) for jobs, training and procurement advantages!
@wyatt_claypool Liberal job 'creation', use taxpayer funded grants to hire student in every small town to cut grass, and call it job growth, and an economic boom!!
Using taxpayer $$ to deceive/fudge the numbers for the weak minded elbows up Canadian's to cheer
From the article “The men Poilievre dismissed as Liberal lobbyists include the architects of three consecutive PC majorities in Ontario”
How many CPC races have they won?
I tore up my PC card years ago.
They haven’t won because they’re NOT CONSERVATIVES
As a former leader of the CPC during a very difficult and fractured time in our party, I agree with what @pdrobertson is saying. I especially agree with “Being magnanimous is not a weakness, but the most under-utilized tool in politics”.
What else is new? Their fear of Pierre Poilievre winning an election has become painfully obvious.
How much of their investment portfolios are at risk if democracy returns to this country?
Let’s be honest, this isn’t about political beliefs or ideology.
NEW: Strategist, lobbyist, and Doug Ford campaign manager Kory Teneycke takes a shot at Pierre Poilievre:
“I think the chances that Pierre Poilievre ever becomes prime minister are slim and on their way to none.”

Nonprofit developers will gain BIG TIME and continue to embed Liberal policies into their “rent to own” plans.
This is much more than a bailout. It’s a scam
Could this be the start of a massive Liberal-NDP corruption scandal that does major damage to the Liberals in Ottawa and the BC NDP?
When it comes to the billionaire developer bailout, Canadians have serious and legitimate questions.
They deserve answers — now.
