The little things—her scent lingering on her favorite sweater, the way she smoothed your hair, the warmth of her hands—become treasures locked in your heart. No matter how much time passes, nothing feels the same without her.

Mom, I would give anything to sit with you again, to hold your hand longer, to tell you one more time how much I love you. But now, all I can do is close my eyes and remember… and hope you can still hear me.
