A'ja Wilson's grandmother grew up near the University of South Carolina campus but wasn't even allowed to walk on it. Instead, she had to take longer routes to avoid the campus.
Today, her granddaughter, A'ja, has both a statue and a retired jersey at that very same school.

Our nation is the most charitable in the world, and this event is just one more example of how S.C. is leading the way — with $1.1 million of the total $1.4 raised coming from the Upstate by AFL’s local associates.

Over 6 years ago, the House first passed my Enhanced Background Checks Act to close the Charleston Loophole that allowed a white supremacist to obtain the gun he used to murder nine worshipers at Emanuel AME Church on June 17, 2015.

I'll never stop fighting to pass this law.
