Loved loved loved Benjamin Zephaniah - never forget his kindness, his bravery, his beauty. The world was a better place with him in it. So sad. He changed things! π₯π₯ππΏππ
"No human being on the face of the earth, no government is going to take from me my right to speak, my right to protest against wrong, my right to do everything that is for the benefit of mankind" - so spoke the remarkable John Maclean, who died 100 years ago today.

Hi we have been sitting on a train at Penrith for a very long time. Being told train will terminate at Carlisle whem we eventually get there. How do I get to Glasgow? https://t.co/vqqBIVQt7t
@OuSontRS@EunisJassemi That is my question too. Indeed why do the barriers on the VPDS side need to be there at all. If they were removed the weeds could all be cleared
@EunisJassemi Thanks Eunis. Will local residents be kept advised of the detail? For example, any discussions on keeping the facade and importantly the adjoining wall between our properties and garden?
@EunisJassemi Iβve been out and looked at the works. The temp traffic light on this side only allows single car access. I donβt think a fire engine or even a bin lorry could get through. Either the barrier needs removed or the lights moved further back. @GlasgowCC@scottishwater
@OuSontRS@EunisJassemi Why were residents not advised in advance? Parking alongside the barriers at the Hall already impedes access for emergency vehicles etc- and now we have temporary lights but still no indication not to park there
