GARLIC has been with humans for thousands of years and still doesn't get the credit it deserves.
It's the quiet hero of every kitchen.
What's the one dish you'd never make without it?
POPCORN is thousands of years old.
Corn was popping long before any movie theatre existed.
Some snacks really are timeless.
What's your all-time favourite topping?
@XtremeMotivated So true! Sometimes believing in yourself means getting back up after the 100th setback and saying, “Okay, let’s try again.” You may not know how the story ends, but you’ll never know what you’re capable of if you stop trying. Bet on yourself and keep going!
@younweb3 Absolutely! We don’t have to have everything figured out or be perfect to chase our dreams. Sometimes our scars and struggles are what give us the courage to keep going. Take the next step, even if it’s a small one. Your dreams are still worth pursuing. 🌿
@MotivateInMind This made me laugh because my daughter and her little friend were kicked out of ballet at just 3 years old for wanting to twirl around and show off their little skirts! The parents weren’t even told there was a problem until they were suddenly kicked out. They were THREE!
There’s definitely truth in this. Likes and followers can feel good, but they don’t pay the bills or create financial security. I think the real goal is to build something meaningful that can grow into income while still staying true to who you are. Start small, learn, create, and keep moving forward.
@firstladyships This is so true. Loneliness can make us hold onto people who were never meant to have access to our peace. I’ve learned that being alone is far better than being surrounded by people who make you question your worth.
@rosebeautyone That’s a tough one because we truly need both. A farmer feeds the world, while a teacher helps shape the minds of the people who will care for and lead it. I’d say the biggest impact comes from recognizing that neither can thrive without the other.
@XtremeMotivated This is such a powerful reminder. It’s easy to appreciate the view once we’ve reached the top, but there’s something special about the hunger, determination, and growth that happens while we’re still climbing. The climb may be hard, but it’s shaping you along the way.
@GK61546 Honestly, I take a step back and remind myself that I don’t have to respond to everything in the moment. Sometimes silence keeps us from saying something we’ll regret. Protecting my peace doesn’t mean I didn’t notice the disrespect. ❤️
Ants said "we live here now."
I said "absolutely not." 🐜
That spray you keep buying?
Doesn't work.
Ants leave a scent trail.
Spray the ant, not the trail, and reinforcements just follow the same path right back in.
Vinegar erases the trail.
Citrus, cinnamon, and cloves guard the entry points. No chemicals, no repeat war with your kitchen counter.
Which one are you trying first?
CINNAMON was once precious.
In parts of the ancient world, it was considered more valuable than gold.
Today, we sprinkle it on oatmeal without thinking twice.
Which everyday spice would surprise you most if you knew its history?
Which ancestral habit do you think your body still remembers? 🌿
Herbal teas.
Eating seasonal foods.
Resting when you’re tired.
Gathering with family.
Some traditions live on in us long after we stop thinking about where they came from.
What’s one your family passed down?
For most of human history, “organic” was simply called food. 🌿
Our ancestors ate what the land provided without needing a label to tell them it was natural.
Maybe wellness sometimes means returning to simpler things.
What natural food do you never want to give up?
