CM DK Shivakumar Directs Withdrawal of Gutkha Ban Order
Karnataka Chief Minister @DKShivakumar has directed officials to withdraw the order banning the sale of gutkha in the state.
The decision comes amid strong opposition from several legislators, particularly @INCKarnataka MLAs, who had raised concerns over the ban. Senior legislators including @JnanendraAraga had met Shivakumar on Thursday and urged him to withdraw the order.
During the meeting, the @CMofKarnataka clarified that he was not aware of the order when it was issued. The issue was also discussed during the subsequent Cabinet meeting, where Shivakumar pulled up the @DHFWKA Department Secretary and questioned how such a major order could be issued without bringing it to his notice.
The Chief Minister also pointed out that the ban could impact areca nut growers across nearly seven to eight districts of Karnataka.
Shivakumar has now directed officials to withdraw the order at the earliest. The withdrawal order is likely to be issued either today or tomorrow.

My NEXT film’s NAME being produced by T SERIES is ..
POLICE COMPANY
With the tag line
“It Is More Dangerous Than D Company “
The police is an institution, and an underworld company is a money making organisation..
But when an institution is given extra powers, it will soon become a company
After DAWOOD IBRAHIM brutally finished most of his rival gangs, he grew his GANG into a COMPANY and then left for DUBAI leaving his protégée CHOTA RAJAN to head the operations of D COMPANY
Subsequently a chain of events led to a split between Dawood and Rajan , which in turn caused a vacuum in the Mumbai underworld. Taking advantage of the situations many other gangs jumped in to stake their claim for the top spot creating a massive outburst of criminal activities
The system was completely failing to halt the gang activities which in turn was attracting a lot of young men from places like U P, M P, Bihar etc to join the underworld companies
In a panicky situation a special squad was created which in between 1997 and 2004 killed more than 300 gangsters
POLICE COMPANY is the story inspired from that SQUAD based on one of its team members DAYA NAYAK which is being played by HARSH VARDHAN RANE ..The film has a huge ensemble cast , the details of which will be revealed soon
This is what very posh restaurants in Bangalore were serving to customers. These restaurants charge a bomb for simple dishes. But they care a hoot for health of people. Remember the names:
1. Hotel Sky, UB City
2. Royal Chain Hotel
3. Madras Kitchen
4. Tescon Hotel
5. Senchez Hotel
This isn't tar; it is cooking oil, and not from a roadside thela, but from a five-star hotel in Karnataka.
Ideally, cooking oil subjected to deep-frying should be discarded after a single use. Repeated thermal degradation generates a hazardous buildup of lipid peroxides, toxic aldehydes, free fatty acids, and total polar materials. Ingesting these induces systemic oxidative stress and chronic low-grade inflammation, which significantly increases the risk of cancer, heart disease, and liver toxicity.
Yet, neither street vendors nor luxury establishments care. Instead of discarding degraded oil, they simply top it up with fresh oil to mask the dark color and keep cooking. They will keep reusing the same batch until it deteriorates so badly, foaming, smoking, and imparting an offensive, rancid taste, that even customers start to notice.
The choice is yours: why use your own money to ingest toxic compounds that bring you closer to death step by step in exchange for temporary taste?
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has concluded that the alleged NEET-UG 2026 paper leak was the result of a well-coordinated, multi-state criminal conspiracy in which confidential question papers were leaked by National Testing Agency (NTA) subject experts and circulated through a network of middlemen to candidates in return for large sums of money.
