@DrTuhinM Performed my first CAPS block yesterday for patient with traumatic brain injury with calcaneal fracture posted for calcaneal screw fixation. I used a linear probe (as the patient was thin built) with a nerve stimulator to locate the nerve. Thanks for teaching.

I recharged my Airtel broadband for 12 months validity and I received a text message confirming the same. When I checked my validity in the Airtel app the validity was 5 days short of 12 months.

1/2 response and I escalated to the highest level possible but there was no clear explanation from them. In the end, they agreed to add the 5 days. This is the third consecutive time I am facing the same issue. Stop cheating the customer’s Airtel. Fed up with the service.

The biggest argument being made in the favour of extended hours is that it helps traders and investors hedge their portfolios should there be any event post routine market hours. That’s fair and that can be achieved just by allowing indices future trading 23 hours a day like we have globally.

What’s the rationale behind allowing options trading as well? More volumes so more money for government, exchanges and brokers of course!!

If the long term vision is to enable both indices and stock options trading during the extended hours, then it’s a big mess personally for me. Trading can’t be compared to a routine 9 to 6 job. It’s a stressful business as we all know. Those 7 hours of trading is equivalent to 9/10 hours of any other job. Moreover, majority of traders spend time post trading hours on analysis and research work.

From the profitability standpoint, those who have been profitable for few years will adapt to the new market regime and find ways to make money. I am fairly certain on that and it’s not going to be a problem. The biggest issue which I foresee is health; it’s only going to add to the already stressful job that we traders have.

My earnest appeal to @SEBI_India to allow the extension of trading hours just for index futures (for hedging purposes) and not for options trading.
