@AvgWrcrmCmmttr@MarathonDevTeam I understand that. I needed room in my vault. So I dismantled it. When I redeemed it, I was hoping to load into Cryo, but it was not available.
This was among the most lopsided, poorly officiated games I’ve ever seen. Here is a thread of all the terrible calls starting with Wemby chokeslamming Brunson. This was clean.
Marathon’s biggest problem is that extracting is rarely ever exciting. In Arc Raiders, every extract point was guarded by a major enemy (Rocketeer, Leaper, etc). You never ever felt safe until you made it out.
Especially when the game was new, every extract was hype. Most marathon extracts are just waltzing up to the thing, calling it, and then leaving.
@MarathonGG_ I want it to be dark af and some kind of mechanic besides thermals to be able to navigate well. We already know the maps, we need to add some unique challenges to them.
"They were bumping Drake's Iceman album before practice, and they don't think they're going to freeze tonight."
@MedcalfByESPN says the Timberwolves have their eyes set on forcing a Game 7👀
I disagree. I’m near level 100 right now with a vault I cant empty to save my life from playing 100% with randoms. At some point it comes down to how well YOU can do. Clutch or die, friend.
Every time I fill into Cryo and get paired with my 2 blue shield assassin friends this squad is all I see with gold shields, 20 energy amps and 20 Grenades (probs also gold misriahs but the post game screen keeps that all a secret.)
I love the map but the meta and playing without a team is very much a "thinking about playing Cryo Vs playing Cryo" scenario.
I wouldn't mind shifts at the lose everything factory if it was all fills and we weren't queued against the professional gear removal service.
Cryo is a top-tier map but playing without a premade squad now is a wild ride. Maybe I'll make it wilder and try a solo queue vault.
@MarathonGG_ The challenge and tension. No two runs are the same. There are days I sit for a session and don’t even extract, yet still come back for more because I want to conquer it.
