@eecsgod e.g., DNA origami โ a technique in which a long scaffold strand is folded by short staples (each a tiny address binding one specific sequence, holding distant parts of the scaffold side by side, fixing the shape) โ has turned molecular self-assembly into a kind of engineering.
I enjoyed using em dashes for years โ to nest a thought inside a thought โ long before AI assistants showed up. Now I have to delete them to prove I'm human?
@eecsgod em dashes are great for setting one thought inside another, but they hit a limit of a normal human perception fast. Hierarchy needs visually distinguishable levels: dashes for one tier, parentheses for the next, commas for the smallest.
