@eecsgod e.g., DNA origami — a technique in which a long scaffold strand is folded by short staples (each a tiny address binding one specific sequence, holding distant parts of the scaffold side by side, fixing the shape) — has turned molecular self-assembly into a kind of engineering.

I enjoyed using em dashes for years — to nest a thought inside a thought — long before AI assistants showed up. Now I have to delete them to prove I'm human?

@eecsgod em dashes are great for setting one thought inside another, but they hit a limit of a normal human perception fast. Hierarchy needs visually distinguishable levels: dashes for one tier, parentheses for the next, commas for the smallest.

8️⃣ Big picture:
We establish 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝘆𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗹𝘀 and 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗿𝘂𝗹𝗲𝘀 for mRNA–DNA hybrid origami.
It’s a step toward predictable, tunable RNA nanostructures for gene delivery, synthetic biology, and precision medicine.
