3/ Top-ups have also now become easier for Nansen API 🔄
Toggle auto top-ups to automatically recharge your API credits when it falls below a specified amount.
We've also improved crypto top-ups
Previously you had to send the funds to Nansen's wallet address, and wait 1-2 days until it was credited.
Now you can top up API credits with the wallet you connected to your account on Solana, Ethereum, Base and Polygon with no wait.
Supports stablecoins and selected native tokens.
Two Nansen API updates this week:
1️⃣ Backtesting data: backtest your strategies against the same onchain intelligence that powers Nansen at any point in time.
2️⃣ Auto top-ups + faster crypto top-ups: so your API queries never get cut off midway.

2/ Nansen API now supports backtesting 💪
Before deploying capital behind a signal, you can now validate it against real history - no look-ahead bias, no manual snapshotting.
Pass any past date, get back exactly what the chain looked like on that day.

This fund shorted $SOL at $93.55 with 20x leverage on @HyperliquidX and now that position is up +585% ROI. Still open.
And SOL isn't even their biggest winner.
A $1.12M ZRO short opened at $1.57 is sitting on +$623K unrealized.
with most of them in profit.
A fund running 14 open shorts across the market, and most of them are all up.
👀 $SERV is one of the few names flashing a signal worth watching rn.
The market feels shaky, flows are barely a trickle, and that’s exactly when smart money behavior matters most.
📊 $SERV 24H onchain via @nansen_ai
• Smart traders: +$6.7K inflow (2.4× avg)
• 3 smart trader wallets accumulated into weakness
• renatales.eth added ~297K $SERV (+59% position increase)
• Multiple buys executed directly into the dip
• Accumulation concentrated at lower price levels
🧠 What stands out
• Smart traders still deploying capital despite poor conditions
• renatales.eth showing meaningful conviction
• Buying weakness, not chasing strength
• Bottom-fishing around $0.039
• Smart money behavior stronger than broader market sentiment
📌 TLDR
Before anyone gets excited:
I’m not saying buy $SERV here. Today’s flows are a trickle, not a torrent.
Also not saying the bottom is in and I’m definitely not saying ignore the macro.
I’d much rather see price and the broader market stabilize first.
What I am saying is that when markets are at their weakest, I pay attention to where smart money is still willing to take risk.
Today, 3 smart traders decided $SERV was worth accumulating while most of the market remained firmly risk-off.
@openservai is also one of the more legitimate AI projects in the space, which makes the signal more noteworthy.
That’s not a buy signal.
It’s a conviction signal.
And in this environment, conviction is exactly what I’m looking for 👀
Markets choppy, capital selective, and smart money is quietly leaving breadcrumbs.

This HL perps whale is sitting on +$2.16M unrealized on a single $NEAR short
Entry at $2.50, now $2.04. +185% ROI.
But the NEAR short isn't all. The whale also has 35 open short positions, with several shorts on tokenized US tech stocks.
NVDA, MSFT, GOOGL, AVGO. Most in profit too.
This HL Perps whale shorted BTC at $109,300.
That position is still open and now +$276.96K unrealized, +836% ROI.
They've also collected $98.61K in funding just for holding it.
But the BTC short isn't half of it.
The same wallet is short tokenized crude oil and Brent crude. This is what trading everything onchain actually looks like.
After an incredible journey at @arbitrum, I’m excited to start a new chapter at @nansen_ai.
Nansen has built the most powerful AI platform for onchain investors and @HyperliquidX traders. As capital, assets, and financial activity increasingly move onchain, Nansen AI is uniquely positioned to become the world’s leading financial intelligence platform.
Excited to contribute to this vision and help accelerate its growth.
This @HyperliquidX whale is sitting on ~$40M unrealized on a single $HYPE long.
Entry at $38.68, +373% ROI.
They've paid $2.83M in funding to hold this position and they're still holding.
Over the last 15 days they've been moving $2-5M in USDC in and out of Coinbase repeatedly - managing around the position while keeping the core long intact.
The same wallet has been liquidated before. Now it's sitting on tens of millions unrealized.
The called it.. and we listened.
What would be a better time than now to utilize the power of AI in trading.

What happens when onchain research becomes conversational?
We’re pleased to welcome Alex Svanevik (@ASvanevik), Co-Founder & CEO of @nansen_ai, to Convergence Summit Singapore.
Nansen is building an AI-native onchain platform where research meets execution, powered by 500M+ labeled addresses and real-time data across major chains.
Its agentic experience lets users research markets, analyze wallets, trade, and manage portfolios through conversation, turning workflows that once took hours into seconds.
At Convergence Summit, Alex will bring Nansen’s perspective on onchain intelligence, AI-native research, and how agents may change the way investors, funds, and protocols navigate crypto markets.

1/ “The competitive disadvantage of trading manually is going to be so great that it’s not really worth it.” — Alex Svanevik, CEO & Co-Founder of Nansen. Key insights from a session on agentic trading and the future of on-chain investing:
2/ Nansen evolved from on-chain analytics into staking and now agentic trading. Over 6 years, the company labeled more than half a billion blockchain addresses and built products around one core mission: helping users grow portfolios.
3/ Alex described the evolution of trading through the lens of AI coding:
• Manual coding → manual trading
• “Vibe coding” → co-pilot trading
• Agentic engineering → autonomous trading agents
The shift is from clicking buttons to orchestrating agents.
4/ Major distinction between agentic trading and traditional trading bots: Trading bots are deterministic scripts. Agentic systems are inference-based, non-deterministic, and capable of flexible tool usage across much broader workflows.
5/ Alex introduced the idea of a “trust ladder.” Users won’t jump directly into autonomous trading. The process starts with research assistance, then co-pilot workflows, then rule-based delegation, before eventually moving toward autonomous execution.
6/ Transparency is core to earning trust in agentic systems. Nansen believes users need visibility into:
• How agents reason
• Why decisions are made
• Real-time performance monitoring
• Historical backtesting before deploying capital
7/ Nansen’s first agentic product focused entirely on research.
Example workflow:
“Give me the top 5 tokens smart money bought in the last hour.” The agent retrieves data, surfaces opportunities, pre-pares execution, checks best on-chain pricing, and waits for confirmation.
8/ One major internal focus: evals. Nansen continuously tests agents for:
• Hallucination risk
• Proper API/tool usage
• Market significance understanding
• Safe response generation
• Avoiding direct investment advice
9/ Alex shared an early example of why significance testing matters. One agent flagged a $60 token purchase as “huge activity.” The takeaway: agents require explicit financial context to distinguish meaningful signal from noise.
10/ Nansen’s philosophy: quality becomes the differentiator in the agentic era. Alex warned that AI tools can easily create products that “look good,” but reliable execution and trustworthy outputs remain extremely difficult to achieve consistently.
11/ Alex believes retail investors may benefit most from agentic trading. Institutions already have research teams and infrastructure. Retail traders often work alone, operate emotionally, and lack consistent workflows. AI agents could signifi-cantly narrow that gap.
12/ Nansen outlined 3 major shifts shaping its roadmap:
1. Analytics → integrated trading
2. Crypto-only → every asset on-chain
3. Humans picking tokens → agents picking tokens
Prediction markets and tokenized stocks were highlighted as major opportunities.
13/ Product update: Nansen is rolling out Hyperliquid trade execution support. Beta access starts immediately, with broader public rollout expected within weeks as on-chain infrastructure matures for full-stack trading experiences.
14/ Alex predicts that over the next 24-36 months, most users will trade through agents in some form because manual workflows simply won’t remain competitive.
15/ Final takeaway from the session: Nansen sees agentic trading not as a replacement for users, but as a gradual evolu-tion of how research, execution, and portfolio management happen on-chain — with trust, transparency, and quality at the center.
