The Last Mudslide?
Steve Karp’s Nantucket Island Resorts, which owns most of the commercial real estate in downtown Nantucket, is pushing out the owner of the iconic Tavern and Gazebo after 34 years: https://t.co/xdpGRAFYSO
From the Nantucket Cottage Hospital:
Join us on August 8, 2026 at Jetties Beach for the 29th annual Boston Pops on Nantucket featuring Yachtley Crew - dubbed the “Titans of Soft Rock” - together with the Boston Pops on Tour. For more information, visit https://t.co/ENAMHum0Em
@stephenasmith Disney is attempting to extort big prices increases which would force more youtubetv price increases. You can keep your overpriced programming.
@SteamshipMA Sigh. Sure everything changes but the stroll of today isn’t anything like the strolls of years ago. Today it’s just an overpriced shopping trip.
Every year, the Steamship Authority transports the Boston Pops orchestra for the annual Boston Pops on Nantucket event. Involving hard work from our crews and boatloads of musical instruments, here’s a sneak peek on how we do it!
Another epic failure of the Nantucket Steamship Authority brain trust. People are getting into the reservation system but are locked out of summer reservations.
Due to system issues that prevented a smooth beginning to Nantucket “head start” reservations on Jan 16th, the Steamship Authority is canceling the Jan 23rd general public reservation opening date. No new date has been announced at this time.
The Steamship Authority continues to think there is an endless pot of money at their disposal and makes “rate adjustments” for 2024. In the real world, not attempting to disguise anything, these are called fare increases. Thanks again @SteamshipMA.
@AirCanada Um no you don’t. Forcing passengers to sit on a vomit contaminated seat and then threatening them with the no fly list seems like a few hundred thousand dollar lawsuit. THIS is how you treat your customers? “Incredible” isn’t even a strong enough word to describe this.
@SteamshipMA How many decades has this been going on? You need to find some new “outside vendors”. Year after year the failures just continue without end.
@luxurytravel@SteamshipMA@SenWarren Don't try to go to the beautiful island of Nantucket. The Steamship Authority has an incompetent IT team! Total embarrassment for MA.
