You can try to rewrite history, but you won't succeed. Facts remain facts, regardless of how uncomfortable they may be. If acknowledging historical reality makes me a "fascist" in your eyes, then that label has lost all meaning.

What's more, your entire national narrative rests on the actions of people who conquered, oppressed, killed, and butchered others. Lacking genuine heroes or moral exemplars, you're left with little choice but to sanitize their actions and excuse what would otherwise be indefensible.

The reality is that your so-called nation has historically been little more than a borderland—at best a collection of tribes, at worst a colony shaped by stronger powers. Engaging in this discussion with you is like wrestling a pig in the mud: in the end, all I accomplish is getting dirty. If Ukraine were to disappear off the face of the map, no one would even miss it, and in a few short years, no one would ever remember.

You know what happened in 1919? The West Ukrainian People's Republic got CRUSHED because it had no legitimate claim—just ethno-nationalist fantasies about land that wasn't yours. The Polish majority in the cities and the historical Polish administration meant it was OURS. You were squatters with delusions of grandeur.

Stop deflecting. Stop whatabouting. Your beloved Bandera was a Nazi-collaborating war criminal who ordered the extermination of Poles, and you're here crying about "occupation" like some victimhood-obsessed propagandist. The only occupation was Ukrainian nationalist delusions on Polish soil.

You ask why retaliation hit civilians. Answer:

1. You condemn Pawłokoma but not Volhynia. If "victims are victims regardless of chronology," why does your outrage only start when Ukrainians die?

2. UPA fighters hid among civilians, using villages as human shields. Should Poles have let themselves be exterminated because killers hid behind women and children?

3. You call these lands "occupied." They were Polish before 1939. Why did UPA murder civilian Poles for "ethnic purity" instead of fighting military occupiers?

You're not seeking truth. You're seeking justification. Genocide of Poles is a footnote; retaliation is a crime.

Answer, or admit it: you don't care about dead Poles.

Pavlokoma was retaliation. Retaliation is not morally equivalent to unprovoked genocide. Both involve dead civilians. Only one started the ethnic cleansing. Only one carved "Death to Poles" into corpses while dreaming of an ethnically pure Ukraine.

@OleksandrR80546 @CorvaxAncien False equivelency. Pawłokoma happened in 1945, after years of Polish civilians being massacred. The UPA campaign began in 1943 against a civilian population that had not attacked them. Timing matters, scale matters, intent matters.
